Ideal First Round Pick For Carolina (2015 Edition (v1.0))

Can't believe I really am on board for it, but honestly, BPA all the way through the draft.  Even if we get a LT in the draft we need someone to play this season to give him a chance to grow because very few start in the NFL right away.  Only positions I wouldn't consider taking would be QB and LB, that leaves us to take BPA at any Oline position, Reciever, DT, DE, Safety, and Corner.  I'd probably add RB into the dont draft area just because in todays NFL you don't draft them in the first round.  Draft some "needs" later, but getting another top 15 type talent like we did with KB, Star, Keek, and Cam will be huge.

It's been said on here before, but I do wonder what the Vikings would want for Kalil...maybe being around his brother could help him out.

Draft an OT in the first, trade for Kalil (if he's "cheap" enough), re-sign Bell as depth, keep the Rim Job...that may work for me.

From what I heard they aren't happy with him but they want to give him another year. To me this feels like we might have to trade more than we want. If he is cheap could be a fuging good oline if he follows his brother.

La'El Collins, OT, LSU

First off one thing we all know that the SEC is revered for is those dominating huge front 7s, and La'El has performed great against some of the best D Lines in college football, so that there gives me a confidence boost in him that he's already playing one if not the the highest class of competition in college football, so the transition to the pros will most likely be easier for him than someone coming out of a weaker conference.

Now to his Strengths:

Strength, Collins is arguably the strongest blocker in college football and comes up with a lot of big times blocks because of this

Weaknesses:

Read a few places he has some problems occasionally with elite speed rushers, more in depth evaluation here:

Based on his strength and weakness, he sounds like a younger Byron Bell to me. Want to see OTs in East-West Shrine and Senior Bowl, then their 3-cone and 20 yard shuttle times at combine, plus their bench reps before making a wish list.

Here is a list of available LT in free agency.  Only one I feel would help the line is King Dunlap.  6' 9" 330lbs and plenty of experience.  A quick article about King Dunlap:

But Dunlap has allowed just three sacks all season, according to Pro Football Focus, with none over the past five games. He's been flagged three times in 923 offensive snaps.

idk if we'd want to pay the money for Dunlap, but I wouldn't mind him at all he's really good
