Peyton (One and Done) Manning

Kevin Greene

Recommended Posts

Here's the worst Post Season choke artist of all time.

Money in the regular season, records, TD passes, blah, blah, blah. But put him in the Playoffs and it's most likely one and done.

9 times Manning has gone one and done in the Playoffs, his latest a defeat at home after a Bye against a team with a Sophomore QB and not much else.

Whether it's Mora, Dungy, Caldwell or Fox this guy is a coach killer.

No one has ever achieved less with more in the history of the NFL.

CYA Peyton, just retire.

The saying that the Colts have luck and not much else is a myth. Luck is good, but so is the rest of his team, he is by no means carrying the entire Colts team on his back.

And Manning has looked horrible, he should retire, while he is still 'almost' on top

Who has the higher career postseason passer rating, Brady or Manning? Oh I guess it doesn't matter because the QBs are the only ones playing the game so W/L is all that matters.

to be fair, manning did not have multiple SB runs (one against us) where, bill i cheat (spygate anyone) had practice film on teams they where to play against. some of which just disappeared...oh, how short memories are.... /sigh

truly it was ONLY in their own divison...lol

didn't hurt that peyton physically could not throw it deep

that was the least amount of touch i've ever seen him put on those throws. he was completely missing his bread and butter.

i think he'll be back next season but that'll be the end of it.

    • Apparently CSW lost his starting job to Thornton last year. If he can stay healthy I bet Thornton keeps that NB position.
    • I member him staying after practices with only to see he was wearing heavy weight vest, one of his trademarks. He also put in 10 years, right? People forget he was the ST stud that called the snap and made sure everyone lined up right. He was one of the "glue" guys that bought his "lunch pail" to work.... He was a willing solider, all teams need a couple of them. He blocked for sooo many panthers RBs- Davis, lane, Williams, foster, goings and when there was huge injuries he took over the starter duties and had a couple 100 yard games. If you followed hoover, he took the perfect RB path cause he was just a slow heavy one himself....
    • Walker likely depends on a couple of things. What exactly did Dan promise him, to start with.  How much other interest he actually had for a starter job at high pay is another question. It isn’t outside the realm of possibility that he could stay on as a swing tackle waiting to take Moton’s spot when it opens.    I can’t get myself to consider Icky as a viable anything until we see him back on the field.     Hunt seems to be a team player and good guy but I don’t think he is worth what he is being paid. I have him tentatively earmarked for cap causality in the near future.
