What could he gain by planting a seed that he would be let go if he lost. I'm not really following that angle.

So using this tactic he's 1-1 at getting what he wants since it worked in Denver for him. Now he gets to go to Atlanta or Chicago where they have some semblance of a QB already in place. All he has to worry about is the defense and he's damn good at doing that.

Can't blame him for not wanting to play Tony Pike.  That dude looked like a poor mans Clausen in the preseason.  I have no idea why we drafted him.

He got to the playoffs a few times with Delhomme and once with he who shalt not be named.

 

 

While a gigantic drop off, I think he could manage to get the Bears back to having a Bears defense and to the playoffs.

He is going to go to Atlanta.  He see their offense is good and in his mind he can fix their defense,  Plus he can try to exact revenge against Carolina twice a year.  He is also not a builder of teams.
