Huddle DT Summary

No more talk of trades.

No Dorsey, no Wilfork, no trading Peppers or even talking about Peppers.

We cant get any big names and no team is a good trade partner for us.

Just accept the team as is and be happy.

Hoepfully this will avoid further bickering amongst huddle members about the subject.

LMAO

welcome to cap hell.

the good news is there's no cap existing for next year as of now. the bad news, well, that's bad news as well.

this is the opportunity cost of keeping Peppers. So he better make some fuging difference on the defensive line this year, enough to patch up at least some of the inadequacies in the interior line.

They moved quickly to pick up a safety. Maybe they've got their hearts set on somebody and its taking longer to pull it together but it's only a couple more weeks till kickoff and we don't have a NT. Whoever it is needs to be in practice this week.

Neither the Panthers or Bobcats are moving and it's driving me crazy. I check the news every day hoping to wake up and finally hear the news and nothing. . .

DT or no DT, AI or not to AI :willy_nilly: Get it over with!!! Pleeease!

    • I thought he was from watching him play and also doing his first HC job. I thought he was the real deal  Apparently what happened is Kraft committed to Mayo and I don’t remember the timeline exactly - but Vrabel was unemployed at the same time Belichick was unemployed. They both were fired after the 2023 season.  Kraft hired Mayo. Who was kind of an obvious disaster. He probably already had the deal in place but I will give Kraft credit for not sleeping. With Vrabel out there for 2025 he made the move he needed to make and if it hurt Mayo’s feelings then oh well.  I guess you can tell I am not fond of Kraft but that was a really savvy move. At his age, pretty good. Still has it.
    • It’s going to feel like a home game for the bills. There are so many of their fans that live down here now, and many of them have never seen Allen play in person since their last visit was 8 years ago. It didn’t matter for the cowboys game, but it might here. I think we likely lose a close one. Probably a questionable flag or two that doesn’t go our way. X factor for Buffalo will be Kincaid and Knox. If we do win it’s because we get ahead and play keep away from Allen. FYI- I have many friends who are Bills fans that are fed up with Beane who we all revere and think is the one that got away. They feel like he was great to land Josh but has done a terrible job of building around him (especially at WR) and rely on him to become super man to win- sounds kind of familiar, like the last time we had a franchise QB.
    • I always thought of him as an uptight military family dude, didn't know he needs to wash that mouth out with soap lol.
