Insider: Panthers have a leader and franchise QB in Cam Newton

I'd really like to see Gettleman Build  around him. Give him a better line or at least give him someone that can protect his blindside, a better WR corp, maybe find a RB that isn't dealing with health issues and can ball. I'd like to see Cam Pass, from the pocket. Finally, i'd like to see better play calling for him.

I'd really like to see Cam 100% healthy. We've been told he's never been 100% since he came into the league. He had his ankle surgery, he had his ribs, and his spine fracture. Can we get this guy 100% healthy and keep him that way?

So he is injury prone gotcha!

What do you expect them to say Cam sucks?

My first instinct is to laugh at you, then I feel bad because you might be too thick to know any better.

It really is pathetic that some people have to go out of their way to criticize the QB of the team they supposedly support.

They are going to have a miserable 10 years going forward.

That guy doesn't even try to put forth a reasonable point of view. He latches onto anything inflammatory to troll the boards and doesn't seem to mind looking foolish in the process. He's pure entertainment. LOL

Getts is about to take FA by the shorts and lay the mashugana on that sweet ass.

You want tackles? Offensive tackles?

The G-man bout to tell the tackles what it's gone be, how it's gone be and how it will affect their future to look elsewhere.

Then the Wideouts gone look out for the Bahstahn Dahn to lay down the law. You ran a 4.5? GTFO! I want speed!! 4 flat or go home.

3.9.

G-Man doesn't want any cupcakes on the team.

I cant even comprehend a 100% heathly Cam with a top 5 offensive line and legitimate recieving weapons.

Itll be Auburn all over again

Gettleman will get there

    • No one way to do it, it does appear that with the bigger draft picks of the last 5 years…..majority haven’t steered clear of young QBs on the roster being their hopeful guy. Especially past their rookie seasons but even some the biggest ones have had it early.   As far as Andy Dalton, the two young guys he has “mentored”…..have had very rough NFL starts.  Which really ask the why the heck is Dalton here.   He doesn’t really check any box.  No young potential.  Can’t step in and win.  And his mentor track record with Fields and now Bryce is bad
    • I had thought the Panthers might let him play out his contract this year and hope he stays healthy. If not draft a left tackle and move Ekwonu to right tackle.
    • Frankly, if most teams in the NFL lose their starting QB for a significant amount of time, they're screwed. The fantasy is that one has a future Tony Romo or a Nick Foles that can carry a stacked team. The reality is that you might get roughly 3~5 games out of your backup before it all falls apart. Remember all of Peyton Manning's backups? Utterly terrible. Speaking of backup QB's, Raiders may need one. https://www.nfl.com/news/raiders-qb-aidan-o-connell-suffered-fractured-wrist-in-preseason-finale-expected-to-be-out-6-8-weeks
