You can post this in the main forum during the offseason, I think. Would get lots more views there.

I like the Funchess pick so I can say Funchess in bunches whenever he gets multiple catches. As long as he's fast enough, which is our main need at WR right now.

Good point now that I think about it. What do you think of a guy like Ty Montgomery in Rd 2 or 3 and going w/an OT in Rd 1?

I would be ok with that only if we get one of the higher caliber free agent WRs, too. For the second half of the season, once Remmers took over RT and Norwell took over LG, our line was good enough. There was never a point though that our WRs could get decent separation.

No Montgomery. He's an awful route runner and has inconsistent hands. We don't need that.

How do you guys feel about the secondary?

Obviously a play making Safety is something every NFL team covets, but there are so few around. Personally think Boston will transition into our SS role and we'll be looking for a Free in the next year or so. Corners we have two high level starters in Josh Norman and Bene Benwikere, but a Nicket should be an area where we look to upgrade. Depending on how Ifo's injury impacts his stock he could be an ideal pick for us in the middle rounds.

Not a big Montgomery fan, but I think it all depends how it all unfolds on draft day. But if a tackle is there at 25 who they think can be a long term starter at LT then they need to take him. And I think the other poster did a solid job summing up the secondary

    • I had everything saved on an old email address and my computer crashed and could not be revived.  I tried reviving it, then stumbled on one I was going to create several years ago...So I am using it instead.  My fault--did not keep the email and forgot password--
    • Rasheed Walker for Kris Jenkins Jr.is what i am actually referring to in that particular post  all those #'s you are referring to are athletic #'s & Monroe Freeling had or has an impressive combination of size & raw athletiscm & it has nothing do with his size or athelticsm that is preventing him from being a day 1 starter in the NFL technique is where he struggled at the NFL combine & not only scouts but analysts alike also viewed him as more of a developmental type of player rather than a day 1 starter  go take a look at Will Campbell transition from the SEC to the NFL another first round LT that was drafted #4 overall by the New England Patriot,s.Will Campbell was a three year starter at  LSU & was thought to be one of if not the very best LT's in the SEC  & compare his SEC carrer to his rookie season in the NFL? just because you played good in the SEC at LT does nescarrily mean you are ready to start at LT in the NFL day 1 & or your rookie season  & one last thing i think you are jumping to conclusion & somehow assuming that i do not like Monroe Freeling ?which could not be further from the truth .what i do not like is the idea starting a player who is not ready ...just saying
    • I'd 10x rather play the NFC North than NFC West.
