Buying PSLs, looking for some help

Because you are not Guaranteed to have those tickets every year unless it is someone that you really know. Also come playoffs good luck in getting those tickets.

As far as OP goes just make sure you can afford the yearly season tickets. The Panthers have made it easier with payment plans but you also have to pay for the playoff tickets when we make them. You always have to budget in those tickets right around Christmas so if you know you cant afford the $1000-$1500 for lower levels grab the upper level tickets. Have had mine for 8 years and really enjoy them but it did get expensive at times traveling from WS and parking. I spent close to $100 per game not including the tickets.

Whoopty fugin doo. If sitting in the same seat year after year is worth thousands of dollars you are an idiot. Every set ive always bought I've got playoff tickets at face as well.

My utility of money is obviously different from yours. Not sure why you would care how I spend it.

The only argument is so I can sit in the same seat and pay full price for preseason games. If you wait till the day after the first home preseason game you save more money than if you are a psl owner that spent thousands. Also if you fall on hard times and can't afford tickets you lose them if you can't find a psl or tickets buyer. If you want to waste your money then it's no skin off my back. FYI I definitely salute the psl owners that bought in the beginning and made the panthers possible.

I have a great in-game relationship with about 30 people that sit in front of, behind, and on either side of me. It really makes game day fun. We all know each other by name, they know my wife and kids. I enjoy sitting in the same spot with the same passionate fans knowing that if any opposing fans show up in our section we hold it down and don't let those bastardsl have an inch.

Edit: Plus I get a cool PSL owner sticker for my car every year. So the way I look at it, I pay a few grand every year for a sticker, the tickets are free.

I haven't read the fine print on what, if any, recourse PSL owners could have if somebody decides to move the team. I think we sign away all rights when we sign the contract. My plan was never to resell for a profit anyway so I didn't really look into that part too much.

That's my whole hold up. If I hadn't of been 7 years old when the team first started I wouldn't have had an issue because I would have known I would have had 20+ years. Now however, we only have about 4 more years guaranteed because of the 6 year tether due to the tax money. It's going to take an ownership change for me to feel comfortable dropping that kind if dough now.
