Denver wouldn't do that deal and I don't blame them.

 

We just need to bury Lance on the bench. He deserves DNP:CD's way more than PJ, Taylor, Hendo, or Daniels do.

Neal isn't going to suit up a game for the TWolves. He will be bought out, they did that trade to help the tank and to open up the roster spot for Payne. I guess some team could possibly buy low on him, he only has one more year left after this one.  I just don't see it honestly.

Lance just had 0 points and 5 turnovers against a Jennings-less Pistons. I don't understand why people still think this team can possibly get anything of value out of this guy.

I really hope we can find a way to deal Lance before the deadline. But I just don't see anyone taking him for anything other than a salary dump... He just looks horrible. We are so much better off with MKG, JT, PJ, Hendo (if he's not traded), and Daniels now on the wings. That is a deep, talented unit with a little bit of everything.

And I'm gonna get flamed for this, but Noah and Biz should be starting... Al's minutes should be reduced significantly.

Biz should be the starter when he comes back.

Al, Lance, & Hendo need to be dumped before next season. Kemba, MKG, & Biz are our core. Those 3 plus a pair of sharpshooters would make for a killer lineup.

The good news is two of those can (and most likely will) opt out and Lance, if not in the coming week, will probably be dumped in the offseason.

It's just frustrating. Kemba looked like a goddamn MVP before he got hurt and he's played well despite never having anything around him on the perimeter. He would flourish if he had shooters around him.

MKG & Biz aren't flashy or a real offensive threat but they are crucial pieces. They win games. Period. Arguably the best rebounding & defensive SF & C in the league. And they also need to be surrounded by guys who can shoot. Not Lance, Henderson, Zeller, etc.

Put a 3pt specialist SG & stretch 4 who can consistently knock down 20 footers & you've got a killer offensive & defensive lineup that fits together.

The way I see it, we took a hit in order to acquire the players we traded for. I truly believe that with Kemba or Mo at the point, this team would have performed better. With MKG and Biz in the lineup, this team would have been better and we wouldn't be on a losing streak.  MKG and Biz both defend better than anyone on this team, and if our actual point guard could run the team, we might be able to score some points. I don't think it's time to burn it down.

We were never going to burn it down. However, there's a LOT of tweaking that needs to be done.

that whole thing I said before about holding onto Lance? I was wrong. He has to go. All he is doing is taking minutes from pj. And Clifford needs to get his poo together about the minute distribution after the All-star break. Quit the political bullshit about not playing rookies. If PJ is better, you play him, and he is.

In that same vein, AL, for the most part throughout the year, is playing like poo regardless of who is in the backcourt. If Vonleh or Biz are better, which they are bc they PLAY DEFENSE, then you play them.

 

I agree with some of what you're saying but in no way, shape or form is Vonleh better than Al at just about anything right now.
