Define fun...

It's cold so pretty much anything outside is out of the picture.

Are you able to ride to Myrtle or Wilmington? If so, do that.

Fun would be eating good seafood and having local beers. Someone mentioned going to mrytle beach tomorrow, so that might be an option. Walked to the ocean last night buy man was it cold and windy. Kind of sucks because there's a pier right by the condo. Would love to fish if it wasn't so cold.

Know of some decent restaurants?

Can't go wrong with Provision down on the water in Southport.  Not sure if it's open this time of year tho... I don't get down there too much.

Stay away from the touristy places at Myrtle like Broadway at the Beach.

We usually hit the buffets down there like Bennett's.  It'll cost you $25 each but you can kill some crab legs.

Sounds like a trip to Wilmington would be better for what you have in mind.  Plenty of bars and restaurants in downtown Wilmington for you.

Go a few miles south to Ocean Isle and hit up Sugar Shack. Amazing Jamaican food, made by a husband (actually Jamaican) and wife. Really nice people and truly the best jerk chicken that I have ever had. Don't stop in Shallotte for anything. Except Bojangles.

The Wing and Fish Company in Shallotte has great fish tacos and if you want to take some fresh seafood back to the condo, Doug's Seafood is right up the street from Wing and Fish.

Or venture another 5 miles south to Sunset Beach and try Crabby Oddwaters at the foot of the bridge. Good seafood boil for 2.

If I asked nicely and gave you directions to my beach house across the bridge on the island at Sunset, think you could check on it for me? Haven't been down in a few weeks...

    • Exactly He's played two seasons and started 28 games. He's well beyond the point of being able to point to 2 or 3 games and being able to say, "THAT is the QB he is and will be in the future" Of course he can get there, but anyone trying to use just those couple of games to rank his place amongst the games QB's today and their full career's worth of playing at that level, is just asinine. Mahomes, Allen, Lamar, Burrow, Hurts, Herbert, Daniels, Stafford, Goff, Geno, Purdy, Baker, Love, Dak, Tua, Kyler, Lawrence That's 17 QB's right there that have played better over their careers than Bryce has played at his best.  And I'm not saying they're all studs or guys I'd want to be our QB moving forward, Tua for example I wouldn't touch with a 10 foot pole, but his body of work is a million times better than Bryce's has been. It's also not including any of the other QB's drafted in 2023/2024 other than Daniels. So again, say you believe in Bryce, say you think he's going to prove he can and should be our QB of the future, that's all fair and totally fine. But nobody can say he's been an above average QB in his career thus far, it's just an asinine notion.
    • I'd think we could get one of those from Dallas for... whatever.
