right - but I think it was DJ Will that said it....

ya when that kid comes on, im never sure if im laughing at him or with him..

dont kid urself, ur not laughing "with" him lol. Football Today isnt one of those lil joke shows, it usually provides great knowledge of everything and not just going with the popular "overplayed" subjects (ex: they spend much more time about Seahawks picking up edgerrin james or the random 3rd string battles in San Fran as they do Brett Favre or Mike Vick)

I hate sports shows that rely on user-generated content, becuase usually the only people who get on the show are either annoying or douchebags. I especially hate that show Fandemonium on VS.

That can't have a guy off the street sounding smarter than they are...why that would be anarchy! :willy_nilly:

ya i agree - typically the content is really good. But the 'super fan' is just that, the common joe talking about his team, just sucks when they talk trash about your own team

couldnt agree more and to be honest, i thought one of the panthers super fans was gunna say something about this huddle since (i wanna say the bears fan?) mentioned his teams forum. but ya once I heard him say that Moore was gunna be starting by mid season, i lost respect for that guy. Only way Moore does is because of injury to Delhomme and possibly even McCown. Was nice to hear them talk Panthers tho. Jeremy Greene is a great sports personality with interesting guests (Owners, GM's, ex) not just the hot topics for the week

    • The league would protect him.  The amount of poo Jerry Jones has had exposed and got away with?  The amount of poo Stephen Ross has got away with?  How long Dan Snyder got away with essentially fuging sex trafficking employees and poo???????  Taking down JR was a hit job.  You think the other 31 owners, especially the older ones aren’t blathering, blatant, ignorant ass, bigoted rich racists who have committed far worse things than Blue Jean Fridays?  The ones I named above have DEFINITELY did worse than what JR was accused of.  And do you think guys like Steve Smith would’ve been viewing him as a father figure if they felt that’s who he was?  JR pissed the league off with that last lockout situation and they made him pay.  They lined a new guy up to join their billionaire boys club in Tepper, and they prolly slid a pretty penny to Jonathan Jones to write the “expose,” to get JR out of here.  Again, all the owners I’ve listed above have been verified on record for doing worse poo, yet they’re still running their organizations, unquestioned.  They hand-picked Tepper long before JR was forced out, so he isn’t going anywhere.  Sadly.  fug the NFL.  (Also, to be clear, it’s always fug racism, bigotry, and sexual exploitation - not ever excusing it.  Just making the point that the NFL isn’t operating under this clear standard of justice applied to each and every case)
    • I was still in the throes of a contentious divorce and my job at the time had me work on Sundays.  At the beginning of the season I tried to still work around Sundays so I could see our games.  I think after Bryce came back from the benching, I said fug it.  First time in my life I intentionally didn’t watch our games, even through the Atlanta finale.  In the past, even if we didn’t live up to expectations, I would watch to still support and at least analyze player development, strengths and weaknesses, coaching, etc., but Bryce makes all of that a moot point, so I stopped watching. Again, this is asinine,  it if he is retained (still can’t believe this is even a possibility of a conversation due to how shitty our organization has become under Tepper), I will NOT watch next season until he is gone.
    • Live look at Bryce playing ping pong.
