Weight loss tips

So over Christmas break I was a total fatass and literally did nothing but eat and sleep. That's what happens when you go home for Christmas, momma missed you and cooks for you everyday. Anyway I gained like 30 pounds and ballooned up to 240. Mind you that before this I was eating awfully anyway with varying periods of exercise.

After Christmas I figured I should probably try to slime down if I wanted to see a vagina again, so that's what I did. I'm down to 205 right now and I feel amazing.I've learned and experienced a few things along the way, and would like to share A few tips

1. Eat better. This seems simple enough but there are many benefits if you cut out the greasy and fatty foods. First of all, you FEEL better. When you eat a big mac and large fries you will afterwards feel like poo. You're lethargic, and more likely to continue to lay around and eat. Furthermore half of that junk is not natural and your body has trouble processing it. You don't have to cut it out completely, but if you're struggling with weight, once a week should be the max. As far as what you SHOULD eat, you should try to incorporate as many fruits and vegetables as possible. Apples and Oranges are my favorites. They are low in calories but filling. You can eat 10 Oranges for breakfast and lunch and even after a filling dinner have a nice calorie deficit.

2. Eat less. Again, simple. When you eat less your stomach shrinks, so you get less hungry. You shouldn't be on the verge of fainting of course, but the less you eat, the more weight you lose. However if you eat too little you will fug yourself in the end all gain it all back. 1200 calories per day should be the floor.

Exercise - More mental than anything, but exercising helps motivate you to continue eating healthy. If you play basketball for an hour, you're not going to want to ruin your workout by eating garbage. If you have a desk job, try moving as much as possible. You'll be surprised at how many calories you burn just by shaking or dancing.

Go to bed hungry - If you usually go to bed around midnight, eat dinner at 8. Your body is still working while you sleep. If your stomach is empty, it will burn the fat your body has stored. That is literally the reason we get fat, to use that fat as energy when there is no other energy incoming. Midnight snacking prevents this, and thus it takes longer for the weight to come off.

4. Be patient - I lost weight fast because I go to lecture /study 10% of the day and play basketball for a few hours a day. If you have a real job you probably can't do this. If you create a calorie deficit of 500 per day, you WILL lose a pound of fat per week, more if you're very overweight. That's just if you eat less. Throw in exercise and you can lose about 5lbs a see safely.

5. The scale lies - Muscle weighs more than fat so if you're lifting and not seeing the results you want it may be because you're gaining muscle. Likewise at first you may see drastic results. This is probably water weight and your body is breaking down that McDonalds from like 20 years ago. Stay consistent and you will meet your goals

6. Enjoy the vagina.

inspirational for sure....I have the willpower of a dead mouse.  Everytime I start feeling better I stop and snack etc.  Pisses me off really.  One day I'll learn to be accountable for myself and stick to it long enough to make a difference.

being lazy and a lover of food is a really bad combination.  Luckily I'm 6'7 and can hide it well...except for the belly!

I've lost about 40 and have kept it off. Changing diet and working out. Traveling sales is not the best job to keep the weight off. Although packing extra poo is a pain in the ass, Last year I started traveling with workout clothes and shoes. Now I hit the gym before the dinners and boozing.

Just make more good choices than bad choices.

I was flying up to BWI last October and could barely get the belt around me. I went vegan for 8 weeks and lost over 30 pounds and now I'm over 40...I'm still big and sexy though. Now I make more good choices than bad. I had chinese buffet today but I've had salads all week and limited my trips at that sweet sweet tin tin.

It's Canadian pounds so it's ok.

The only thing I disagree with you about is going to bed hungry. Don't eat a full meal by any means, but I usually did a really light protein only snack like almonds or jerky. Just enough to make my stomach work and keep my metabolism going through the night.

The other thing was always get something in my stomach within 30 minutes after I woke up. That way my metabolism was going again.

    • Or just don't be an ass and hang out in the left lane. Just use common courtesy. The people who tailgate and be an ass are no better and its not a surprise that a lot of road rage incidents occur when inconsiderate people and assholes cross paths. Just make an effort not to be either. "Not allowing the bully to bully you" is also being an inconsiderate ass to the people behind the "bully" who would also like you to GTFO of the left lane.
    • It was completely disgusting and the most obvious fix I’ve ever witnessed. Deflating. It’s probably gone on for decades but high def TV has truly outed the egregious ‘officiating’. When was the last time a small market team was allowed to win a SB?  Offensive holding is it, and it’s so predictable. 2nd and 7 turns in to 2nd and 17. Defense pins their ears back, covers the slot guy and TE roaming the middle, and watches for the WR/RB screen. D line needs to maintain gap integrity. The deep shot to the WR down the sideline is a low percentage play so no real worry there. Most average O lines won’t be able to convert.  Loser getting too close to FG range in a close game? Holding. Winner needs a short field? Holding. DCs love them some obvious passing downs. Narrows down the playbook and significantly puts the odds in their favor. Put a team in 2nd/3rd and long all day and they are NOT going to win that game. It would be interesting to do a statistical analysis of the relationship of holding calls and game outcomes.  This is where having skill position people that can go yard on any given play is so valuable.
    • It can still be enjoyable.  I don't think the players are in on it.  I mean, I think they probably understand the "business" but they are trying.  So it's fun to watch them.  But I admit I'm not even close to emotionally invested as I was before the SB50.  It also just happens it's usually on a Sunday and I don't have much going on anyway.  I really think it's just one head ref that can push a game the way he wants it from instructions from the man upstairs.  Why else do they keep bad refs?   I don't think it always works out when they try to push the game though but more often than not it works.  Sometimes a team can beat the refs and the opposing team but it's rare.
