We are talking about this from a cap standpoint though. They've already restructured Colston and Byrd. From what I've read, Bree's isn't willing to restructure. They have to come up with roughly $18 million by Tuesday, which still wouldn't allow signing any FA's. Then another $5 million around draft time.

They'll convert roster bonuses this year into signing bonuses to spread the hit out and make cap room. Next year there are a lot of high base salaries for the same players, so those will get converted to signing bonuses also to make 2016 cap room. Then Brees will be done in 2017 and the house of cards will collapse on itself.

What in the hell does Ingram's contract have to do with DeMarco Murray?  Murray had 2261 yards from scrimmage last season.  Ingram only has about 500 more than that in his entire four year career.

Ingram never looked like a bust in my opinon, he just never got the touches.  Now that both Sproles and the PT Cruiser are gone, he'll be THE guy.

I didn't think the Saints would be able to retain Mark Ingram.I  am now interested in seeing what they do March 10th, in order to be able  get under the 2015  salary cp.
