I'm not saying he's a "damn good receiver" but 754 yards with Alex Smith as QB is pretty damn impressive. He would be the best #2 we've had in years so I don't get why people are turning him down. He would not be expensive at all.

For the record, I still wanna give one or both of Britt and/or Nicks a look. And Cecil Shorts is worth bringing in for a visit too. But we might have to look at people like Bowe if we keep up with our free agency complacency.

Slow and aging WR's aren't going to keep us up with the top offenses of the NFC.

 

If that's all we can acquire, then we may as well go for the guys who aren't 30 years old already.

 

Our best hope at this point is that we can shore up our OL and run the hell out of the ball.

 

I'm only hoping that Gettleman will at least consider adding another WR in the draft to pair with KB.
