We're officially tanking it out

Recommended Posts

If you're argument was plausible, which it isn't, the team certainly isn't tanking... at least not yet.

Biyombo is playing well with a recently broken nose and no mask.

Henderson has 20 and counting in the third quarter and Marvin has 9+ boards.

The players and Cliff don't appear to be giving up.

There's a reason why you have over 5000 more posts then me and less pie.

Since you've not been around a while, pie is something that started several years ago. There was something called reputation points before that.

Because you like the huddle so much, maybe you could support the huddle with a supporter membership?

Also, btw, your boy kemba is 5/18 in this game.

The last time this team tanked, we were cheated out of getting Anthony Davis and was stuck with picking MKG.  We have no choice but to continue to be a doormat team until we can convince Steph Curry to come aboard the Hornet train once he hits free agency.

"Tanking" is not the operative word here. This is simply holding out an injury-riddled MKG because he's our most important player and there's no point in trying to risk him getting injured yet again in a lost season.

If we really were punting the season, Cody and Al would be shut down as well, but they're still trying to bring them back at some point for some inane reason.

    • I love Chubba.  Been a fan since I heard about his story when he was at Ok St.  and no doubt his production and progression is impressive, but this is my one nitpick - he was always touted for his speed, having come from a track background, so I am honestly surprised he doesn’t have more breakaway runs for TDs than what he has achieved thus far.  But to be fair, it often feels like he is constantly having to break tackles, so when he breaks the last one where it would just be nothing between him and the end zone, that usually took long enough that a defender from the opposite side of the field got an angle to catch up.  I really hope with the receiver additions, Bryce moving forward with confidence and proving that ending stretch last season wasn’t an aberration, and another year of synergy for the OL, Chubba is gonna have some wide open running this season.  He is definitely special.  Proud of him and happy he is getting rewarded for all his hard work…
    • Didn't i say passing other cars?
    • If you're in the left lane, look to the right. Is there someone beside you? Are you soon overtaking someone in the right lane immediately ahead of you? No and no? Then get the fug over. That's how it's supposed to work. Doesn't matter if you're going 100.
