I feel something very very wrong with Jonathan Stewart

What evidence do you have of that?

Whispers from Gantt on Twitter. Absolutely no interviews with anyone from the organization about his condition lately. Not even suiting up for any game only to be held out like players like Thomas Davis have. No one talking about him being ready for Philly.

Just a feeling I have. It just seems something is up there.

I highly doubt that is the case, but in any event if that did happen that means a lot more carries for DWill until he get healthy....which is never a bad thing. If he was going to be going on IR he would have had surgery or something by now, and we would have heard about it. I think that they are just being cautious. They are just keeping one of their thoroughbreds safe till the real bullets start flying.

i hope your wrong but i think you might be right. if it wasn't something serious i could understand being held out of games but you would think he would at least practice a couple days a week.

i was also just listening to the frank and buck show and one the guys on there said they had heard that stewart went to a personal doctor and was told that the injury was more serious than originally thought. i doubt there's any truth to it cause he didn't say who the source was, so as of right now its just a rumor.

It seems like this Achilles thing has been bothering him a great deal for months and they kept thinking it would heal on its own with rest and that obviously isn't happening. I'm guessing it's giving him a tremendous amount of pain when he tries to make a cut.

    • Everyone says AT was old and slow but the one thing he could do consistently was get separation. That takes skill and it's been a huge issue in our WR for years. And while Moore may be a great locker room guy and our WR coach may be a 12 year vet, he's not playing in the game. Vets like AT do what they do because they can see things others don't and exploit it. The DB interview I mentioned before was with Stephon Gilmore after his DPOY season. He was pulling the younger DBs aside showing them things you wouldn't even think you'd be able to tell from the way the receiver was standing.  Seeing what a DB or LB is biting on in game that can give you that half step advantage is huge and we don't have that experience in our WR group right now and I think it could end up hurting us. None of our receivers have lined up against NFL corners successfully on a regular basis. Having someone that can walk over and give you a tip to get a half yard separation can be a difference maker.
    • We only fielded about 4 NFL calibre players on that unit last year.
    • only 1 QB in the history of mankind has managed a winning record with his opportunities in the David Tepper era.    Bring in PJ.   He has NFL tools.  He will at least be entertaining if called upon.  How is that not better than Andy.  *PJ Walker bandwagon is back up now that it is....not...time for for the percolator.
