The Observer said that Fox will play his starters a couple of series or so against Pittsburgh. God help us if they get hurt but on the bright side hopefully we can see some things we haven't seen yet...like tackles and Panther touchdowns.

I hope that the starters don't even dress....this game means nothing....it's not worth an injury: let the guys trying to make it in the NFL duke it out.....and I want to see more of that kid from Louisville!

I think this is more about ticket sales than anything else, last year we were on the road so it didn't matter that the starters didn't play. This year we are at home and nobody wants to go to a game that doesn't have Jake, Peppers, Smitty, or DWill in it. Nobody except for me and most others on this board.

The only good that can come from this is a confidence booster, maybe the offense comes out and gets a TD or a field goal and maybe the defense gets a three and out or forces a turnover. If those things don't happen then nothing will have changed from the first preseason game so no harm done, Leonard may get a few reps with the ones, but thats about it.
