The Roaring Riot Brings it 4 Braylon

I know a lot of you saw the story of Braylon Beam a few days ago when he was dancing it up on the Ellen show (in case you didn't I'll repost a link to the clip below).

I saw it and I thought he was a pretty awesome kid. So, I've decided to try and do something about it. Here's what I came up with.....

We are throwing "The Roaring Riot Brings it 4 Braylon" next Friday (May 29th) at Dilworth Neighborhood Grille from 6p-8p.

Tickets are $10 and include 2 beers on my tab and 1 raffle ticket (additional raffle tickets will be available there). I'm working on all the raffle prizes and I'll post those later - but there will be some cool stuff. Also....100% of the ticket and raffle sales will go to the Beam family to help with their ongoing medical expenses.

We will be selling RR memberships at the event. I am going to also donate $5 from every membership purchased that night to the Beam family. Roaring Riot members get 10% off their tabs at DNG.

At the event we are going to make Braylon an official Roaring Riot member. The kid lives the Keep Pounding motto every day and I think he will make a perfect RR member - we'll be lucky to have him.

Lastly....THIS PART IS A SECRET....I am going to be surprising his family with an all expense paid trip to join us in JAX for the season opener. I've also worked it out with the Jags to get him on the field before the game. I think he's going to love it and I can't wait to see his face when we give it to him that night.

If you can make it out to the event next Friday night then I would love to have you. Tickets can be purchased at: http://bit.ly/RR4BTIX

If you can't make it to the event I've started a GoFundMe page for our RR Chapters outside of Charlotte. If you're able to give a little then great - if not then do us a favor and post something about it for your friends to see and possibly donate. Raising awareness is just as important as funds. The GoFundMe link is: http://bit.ly/RR4BGFM

Here's a link to Braylon on Ellen if you missed it:

Hope to see some of you fools out at DNG next Friday. Keep Pounding.

I'm speechless. What an amazing event. You have outdone yourself. I cannot make it to the event due to a prior family commitment, but I will be donating and spreading the word for the GoFundMe.

This is why I love the Huddle, Roaring Riot, and all of our Carolina Panthers communities.

Women want to be with you. Men want to be you. You are the Ayatollah of Rock n Rollah.

Great job and yet another thing that makes me wish I lived in Charlotte. I hope I get to meet the kid in JAX and tell him as a combat soldier of 7 deployments I respect and admire that kid.

That is awesome man!  Poor kid deserves all of it.  Me and my wife just had a little girl a couple months ago and it would kill me if I ever knew she was in pain.   Braylon and his will never forget it, and in all seriousness shout out to Ellen.  I really have never liked her but she is one of the only reasons that we know about this great kid.

You're the man, he and his family will be so happy! I appreciate you posting this, absolutely love hearing great stories like this. Keep it up and hopefully once I get near a RR chapter I'll be able to join.

Credit to the Jags as well. They didn't have to go out of the way to get him on the field before the game, but are anyways. Good stuff all around. Makes me proud to be a part of this organization, RR, and the entire community.

I wish I could be in Jacksonville with you guys. When the kid gets on field and is booed by some classless POS fan because he's a Panthers fan I'd love to be there to throat punch him.

Montsta breaks noses for Braylon sounds like a legit headline.

In a strange, twisted, army way that is a movement I can get behind. I'm not right in the head...and neither are you.

They'll only be 40K at most of their 'fans' there anyway....they'll stick out like a sore thumb. Jacksonville is an upholstered toilet, so I wouldn't be surprise if some of their 'fans' talk poo to the kid, even if there isn't a formal intro at all.

Beating up people who make fun of weak people is sort of a hobby of mine.

Like collecting baseball cards or stamps.

    • I would write “give remmers tight end help” on a yellow sticky note and stuck it in shulas playbook the night before superbowl 50.
    • And don’t worry about Bryce he will be great… Peyton Manning had a horrible rookie year too 😂
    • Nothing wrong with it at all until you start telling others they are bad fans or not fans. But you are the good fan because you never say negative stuff about the team.    I did many years of that type of uninformed fanning because there really was no info and coverage like there is with the internet.    I mean, I used to go to the store and get Street and Smith’s annual football issue. That was about the extent of what you could get if you didn’t live in a big city with sportswriters covering and reporting.  There was no video to look at or replay the games and if you didn’t live in the market you could only rarely see your football team play.    TI have fanned since being a kid in the early 1960s, and as late as 1995 - ‘97 I lived in Atlanta and good luck getting more than 3 or 4 games a year on TV. No radio either. No print coverage outside of an AP recap and box unless they played Atlanta.  People today that have always had the network connection don’t know.    I wasn’t very educated about the Panthers until I finally got internet.
