NBA Finals Thread

If the Cavs win this with no Kyrie or no Love... then for LeBron this will hands down be one of the single greatest accomplishments in the history of the NBA.  Maybe the greatest.  Losing your 2nd and 3rd best players - two All-Stars - and still making it to the Finals, and even win a Finals game (almost fuging 2-0 up on them) against a fully healthy Warriors team, at the toughest place to play, against one of the greatest teams statistically of all time...

Dude is leaving it all on the floor right now.  He's averaging 41.5/12/8.5 in these first two games.

And lol at the fuging irony of Kobe fans talking poo about someone going 11/34.  Guess what his statline was with that 11/34?  39, 16, and fuging 11.  He's doing everything on offense right now while letting all the other guys go hard on defense... while still defending his ass off as well.  He's literally playing PG, SF, SG, and PF all in one right now.

People acting like LeBron is the only player on the Cavs. Mozgov and Thompson played lights out and Smith and Shumpert were playing great D and hitting their shots, not to even mention Delly's defense which is better than Kyrie's by far. Man you guys are just sad, pitiful people.

It's almost like Kyrie and Love don't make that much difference and never got their teams anywhere close to the playoffs or something...but no, that would hurt the narrative.

Also, this was a classic example of why traditionally (and I emphasize traditionally here, because GSW could very well change that) teams that rely on jump shooting lose in the playoffs. We saw it happen to the Hawks in a big way and tonight it happened to the Warriors.

Tough to get a handle on this series. On the one hand, each team is an OT away from taking control of the series (especially Cleveland) but each is also an OT away from being in a 2-0 deficit.

You LeBron fanboys continue to be insufferable and ruin it for those of us just trying to appreciate LeBron for being LeBron and not worrying about First Take-esque debates.

What the... huh.... but the..... WHAT?  JUST WHAT?????

Thompson had 14 boards which was obviously big but he was 0-5 from the field.  JR Smith literally made some of the most boneheaded plays down the stretch I've ever seen last night.  And him and Shump can't hit for poo.  Shump was 2-11 and JR was 5-13.  "Hitting their shots" get the actual fug out with that bullshit.

Kobe & MJ >>> LBJ lmaooo dude gonna go 2-4 or at best 3-3 in the finals

I can understand MJ > LBJ but Kobe isn't on LeBrons level. Give LeBron those Laker teams Kobe had in his title years and LeBron would win too. Shaq in his prime would have won titles with LeBron also.. LeBron and Kobe have the exact same amount of Finals MVPs... Not to mention LeBron usually shits on Kobe when they play each other ( http://www.sbnation.com/nba/2013/2/10/3973248/lakers-heat-kobe-bryant-lebron-james )

Good point I've been hearing today, if LeBron had Curry's performance last night he would've been destroyed today in the media. Why does Curry get a pass? He was the mvp...

Lebron's standard is so ridiculously high that anything less than greatness night in and night out brings out the haters. And even after the great performances they still find something to nitpick or bitch about.
