Official Frank Kaminsky Selection Poll

I only hate the pick because passing on Winslow seems like a huge mistake. I'm not even mad at Frank. He doesn't excite me, but I do think he fits Cliff's system and was a need. Winslow is exciting and will put butts in the seats. Tough to pass on that. Only thing that will make it better is winning.

I think he will be better than you guys think.  A smart passer, a solid outside shooter with good footwork inside.  Not who I would have picked, but not a disaster either.

He should be able to play right now, something that counts.  I just think we have a terrible front office.  Period.

Winslow would have come off the bench and anchored the 2nd unit defense. Also would have allowed us to have a future without having to overpay Batum. The idea of this is just making me more angry as I type it out.

Still in shock.

With Clifford setting the rotation with Zeller, Frank, Al, and Hawes...this could very well turn into a disaster.

Don't forget that Biz could very well be back. Even with all the bigs we have he should be cheap to keep so that is yet another man into the rotation. And sadly none of them fit very well with each other. I really hope we find a way to move Frank and Al for anything at this point otherwise I see this season being another disaster.

For some reason (and considering who we have, I don't know why) but I just don't think we're gonna retain Biz.

    • Aggressive runner, hits the hole fast, and runs angry.  Just a few yards shy of the single game record for the team.  Absolutely phenomenal performance.  If the gameplan hadn't become weirdly pass heavy for the 3rd and first half of the 4th quarters he might have been flirting with 300.
    • I felt that way before the season started, but I'm sorry, he's already proven he isn't that guy, I don't need to learn anything more about him. He threw the ball 30 times today and could only throw for 198 yards, which was his 2nd best yardage game this year, he's just not the guy. Which means this season has already moved onto the 2nd most important thing going into this season after evaluating Bryce, and that's developing our best young players. You don't do that by only throwing 8 of your 30 passes to your best player who is still only a rookie.  Pepper him with targets and help develop him so he's ready to take a huge leap next year when we get a real HC and QB to get him the ball.
    • Every win comes from a non-sustainable source.  As CRA mentioned, Penix absolutely imploding against ATL, and then today, defense finally clicked and looked the best they’ve looked in a long time (and still have up 24 points lol) and Rico ran for 200+ yards.  We’re not going to get that every week, especially against good teams, which neither Miami or ATL are.  Both MIA and ATL are bad teams and Bryce still couldn’t get it together.  The defense (and team) had to overcome 14 points because of his turnovers again.  That was not even an average QB performance.  We are winning in spite of him.
