Peter King doucebag calls Steve Smith a smurf

How dare someone talk smack about another person! Doesn't he know you're supposed to be nice to everyone, never rib, and never joke? Has he never been to BoA Stadium? This is mindblowing.

Nah, you have to read the way he said it. I don't care about personal insults, but his brand of reporting(which I incidentally payed for) sucks.

I can't see The Bears going to the SB. It's great that they have Cutler but they have no WR's. What routes can Devin Hester run besides a fly/go route? Their defense hasn't been good ever since they went to the SB. The Packers and Vikings are the team to beat in that division.

I agree with the Packers, but I think the Bears will be better than the Vikings this year.

Their defense isn't as dominant as it was in years past, but I'd still call it "good."

Look for Earl Bennett to be targeted a lot from his old college pal, Jay Cutler. And Greg Olsen's a legitimate tight end. Plus, they've got a decent running back in Matt Forte.

    • I never thought a second look was even necessary. I was begging the football gods not to have us trade up to the 1st pick. And damn once we did it was a thoroughbred vs a little pony.    If you have a perceived generational player in the pool and you have the 1st pick, you just don’t trade it. In the first place. But all this Bryce drama - which (understandably) takes over almost any thread, just like this one - would never have happened if the team was not sold to Tepper.
    • I agree. I understand why he did though. And surely he had his parents in his ear who have always gone out of their way to make sure he always had the best and the least amount of adversity around him to that point in his life advising him to do so. Where I take the most issue with it is when people who just want to be sycophants start listing off other QB's who didn't throw at the combine and you don't even make it through half the names before your eyes roll right into the back of your head realizing every single of those QB's who didn't throw already clearly showcased the necessary prerequisite physical talents needed for the position.
