That's because it's just their conscience/mind saying poo in their head and the retards think it's "God."

from a non-Christian perspective I get and have heard that. I was replying to Mr. Scot who said he's been a Christian for forty years. As a fellow Christian I found his comment peculiar.

from a Christian perspective, I'm absolutely serious. Hearing Gods voice is a bedrock of the faith. Why worship a God you can't communicate with? With communication there's no relationship, without relationship there's no intimacy, without intimacy there's no point.

But if you don't hear an audible voice, then isn't it a one sided conversation, and is it really communication? Even further, if you don't hear an audible voice replying to your thoughts, then how do you decide which thoughts are your own from your conscience and which ones are god speaking to you?

That's why I am not a christian anymore. Was tired of reading straws with regards to god's voice. I did this after fasting and prayer with other christians praying also. I know if I had kids and wanted them to hear me speak, I would not do so in a convoluted way.

Well as a Christian I most definitely prayed and fasted for who I was going to marry. She was my best friend that was a girl, and I met her at church camp. I never saw her that way until she was 17. Anyway, I don't personally know Ciara or her beliefs. But I'm sure God wouldn't tell you to be with someone who didn't share your beliefs, as the Bible says to not be unequally yoked. But what do I know about his private life? He could be legit.

How did that praying work out for his first marriage?  If he knew he was going to date Ciara before he started dating her, and that wasn't god's voice, then what makes him think it was god's voice after he starting dating her telling him to lead her and but not fug her?

I wasnt speaking in regard to RW specifically. But in speaking about him, I have no idea if he's sincere or not. But I'd say praying doesn't mean everything will workout, particularly when another person is involved like it is in marriage.

As far as knowing if it's Gods voice or not, that comes down to how intimate you are with him, how close is the relationship. I'd know my niece's voice in a crowd of thousands, I have a relationship with her. God can be the same way ideally, there's always times when a person isn't sure, especially if it's something you don't want to do.

God rarely speaks in the context of conscience. Most people know right or wrong. He doesn't tend to remind us. He mostly speaks in guidance or just developing intimacy/building a relationship. The more time you spend with him the easier it tends to be to discern his voice. I'd say about seventy percent of the time I think it's God's voice, it's my own thoughts. But the other thirty percent of the time, I wouldn't trade for anything.

Still not sure if serious

I guess that depends on one's theology. But I believe he can't stop it without men and women willing to co-labor with him to help solve an issue we caused. The harvest is plentiful, laborers are few and all that...

Yeah, i think that's why he said something about God telling him to lead her. Perhaps he's implying that there's some steps he can help her take toward salvation. idk

I ain't callin him a douche, would never question somebody's belief regardless of mine, but something ain't right with RW.. I've said it before, he looks like he knows where bodies are hidden or is into some sort of really weird poo, something.... It will come out in time, I have faith in that....

    • Here's my deal. I hate the whole "Alpha" bullshit, because it has been turned into an act, a marketing ploy and a wonky set of qualifications. What I think you need as a QB for your team is the happy, smart leader that brings his teammates along rather than throwing them on his back. And they need to be a stone cold killer when they get to the field. As much as I dislike the guy, it's Brady over the Mannings. It's Montana over Marino. It's Bradshaw over Staubach.  And here's the one that'll get me killed around here: It's Jake over Cam.
    • Joe Burrow hasn't played for three quarters of the season and very little in the pre-season. He comes back and posts some very good numbers and leads his team to victory. That's what a #1 franchise QB should be doing, not whatever is going on here. The eye test doesn't lie. Throw out the rose colored glasses and believe what your eyes are telling you. Five more games and then a decision needs to be made on a certain players permanent status.  Do what is right for the team and fiqure out how to improve that one very critical position. Please don't fug it up this time.
    • I’m all for bringing a QB in but who? The FA list is ass. The draft class isn’t great I’d take a flier on Trey Lance and if available in 4th someone like Leavitt or Mateer? I never wanted Dalton back especially at the contract Dan gave him. He’s utterly useless on the field and his cap hit isn’t nothing. He provides nothing.  There’s a lot of bad QB play this year and passing is down. Guys worth trading for are most likely not going to get traded.  As much as many of you don’t want to hear it our best option is to decline the 5th year option. Give Bryce 2026 while we have him under contract. Then in 2027 either sign Bryce (tag would be an option. Don’t repeat the Darnold mistake) or draft another QB and do it all again
