It's all my fault I've been doing my best W impression by clearing brush from my ranch and just no desire to post. Then you add in my fiance, mistress, consulting, Lego collection, and comics. The Huddle will just have to suffer but my AP check still clears every month.

But i did see an autographed Kelvin jersey at Colorado Mills.

Last offseason seemed really long for the Hornets too. Not insinuating anything about how the Panthers will do this year, just agreeing with you that offseasons seem to last longer when your team seems to be improving, even more so than when you just had an even better season. For example this one seems longer than 2005 or 2008. Or maybe it's just cognitive bias and EVERY offseason seems like the longest one while you're at the end of July, who knows.

      Sure, but if that happens, the draft pick will look even worse for the Falcons, as instead of getting them a player that could win now, they took someone who ran off their prize FA QB after 3 years and now looks like they may be a bust. Penix was one of the more polished QB's in the draft and would have probably been a rookie starter if taken by someone with an uncertain starting QB, if he's not ready to step in and play well in year 3, then it's probably not going to work out.
