2015 Jersey Color Schedule

I like the jersey/pants combo itself, but I don't like them overall because of the blue socks. It's tacky as fug and makes the helmet look out of place. They would look a million times better with silver socks.

That's the Raiders no thanks. Blue accents are on the pants, jersey, and helmet. The socks are great

1- Remove the logo from the sleeves

2- Remove the stripes from the shoulders and add them down the sides of the jersey to match the pants.

3- Change the helmet stripes to blue outlined by black to match the jersey/pants stripes.

Maintains the original design which is considered a modern classic, but it removes some of the painful 90s imagery. The shoulders are cluttered as hell with jersey numbers, stripes, team logo, and brand logo all crammed together. The 3 logos down the side also look cluttered as well as being redundant and a 90s trademark. You don't need to see 3 Panther logos from the sideview. Helmet stripe has always just irked me. It's the opposite of the jersey/pants stripe. If it were blue it would match the uniform but also make the helmet stand out better.

Done. Nice and neat. And simple.

I definitely agree about all the Panthers logos. Only need 2 on the uniform max, people know it's a Carolina Panthers uniform.

The shoulder piping, and piping down the sides of the pants desperately need updating. I don't know about the stripes on the helmets, I would need to see a comparison.

I'm still puzzled that we updated our wordmark form the outdated 90's style, but left the 90's uniforms. I don't doubt that Nike submitted some designs, but I'm sure they went overboard. There is certainly a balance to be had, we don't need to make huge changes, just subtle enhancements.

I think the stripes would look fine if they went down the sides inline with the pants.

For the helmet stripe, I dunno, I just don't like the black. Blue might look even worse. I'd actually prefer they just ditched it all together. With the old logo the stripes worked, but with the new logo that doesn't have any outlines I think it would look better on just a plain silver helmet. I love the way the new logo looks on the helmet, it's very sleek.

Well the Panthers logo is black accented with blue, so changing the helmet stripes which match that currently would make the two clash IMO.

I don't see JR approving any substantial uniform changes (if he approves any changes at all). If anything it would be a minor update.

Wearing black 6x at home is awesome. Too bad they'll be wearing those god awful black pants and blue socks instead of the silver pants and black socks that actually go with the helmet and jersey.

The all black jersey/pants with a silver helmet and blue socks is the tackiest and most awkward looking uniform in the NFL.

This coming from a guy whose name is batman. A guy who wears all black everything.

    • It appears that he sees things differently than the QB and OC, so Cam's advice is spot on. It isn't about number of targets, it's about quality of targets. Trust and being on the same page. BY doesn't know how to anticipate what XL is doing. And XL doesn't like where BY is placing passes. One on one film study would go a long way. More for BY than XL though. He has to adjust to XL. I really don't think XL can adjust on the fly.
    • If the team shows improvement, then he shouldn't be in danger of losing his job - even if the record doesn't reflect. This was a very young team (with a lot of new vet starters) that overperformed last season. Somebody's doing something right. Consistency is key with so much youth. And we're potentially looking at new starters at ILB and FS. Those are positions that take time to fully understand the defense. ILB calls the front 7. Safety calls the back 4. Injuries at WR and IOL killed the offense last season. Depth needs to be upgraded. Same with Edge. I think they would have won more games if Pat Jones doesn't go down early. Be smart with the roster and draft. Trade players for assets when it's time to pay them more than they're worth - yes, that includes BY if he doesn't make a pretty big jump. That's one of the many reasons Tillis is as important as anyone to the future of this team.
    • He had heart surgery a while back he looks Fraile I hope he is okay
