RIP Frank Gifford

Word that Frank Gifford, the longtime voice of Monday Night Football, has passed away at age 84.

This may not be directly Panther related, but Gifford was such an absolute legend in the game of football that I feel it's worth discussing in the main section.

Certainly the premier voice of the NFL for at least three if not four generations (at least in my fam). I miss hearing his voice already.  Gifford, Dandy Don, Howard Cosell and even Jimmy the Greek bring back a lot of memories.

That NFL Today crew was unequalled,  you forgot the best looking one of that crew Jane Kennedy.

When I was a kid I absolutely loved hearing that MNF music, followed by Gifford's voice. RIP Frank.

Sad news.  He was a great player.  I knew him on MNF.....great there as well.
