god dammit i need a new PC to play these games, problem is even after $1500 I won't be able to play next year's games...

to me this is the main negative PCs have on consoles, the experience is all in the computer, especially online games. But god this game looks so fuging good...always been a fan of the star wars RPGs and Im not even a fan of star wars

honestly if you build it yourself you shouldn't need to spend $1500 to have a pc that will last you.

I'm pretty sure you could soup up a pre-fab one and have it be pretty nice for under 1500, too.

So now that some people have had a chance to play it....how is it? I'm seriously considering picking this up. I don't want to waste 50-60 bucks tho. Not to mention I'm already playing Rift and I love it (though I am getting a bit bored, since I've done just about everything)....i don't have time for two MMO's.

I have played most every major MMO out there. Rift is one of the many I have a great deal of experience with...

I much prefer leveling in TOR. Can't speak to end game because I'm not there, but the voice over stories and multiple options have so far drawn me into the story.

if you spend 1500$ on a pc and can't play next year's games you got ripped off

i spend 800$ on mine 5 years ago, and have only upgraded the video card and hard drive and it still runs brand new games

      I would say the extremes from both camps in these conversations have to do with the blurring of the fact Bryce is a first overall pick and the expectations for that draft slot fair or not far exceed just being a top 20-25 starter amongst your peers. Regardless. All logical Panthers fans want him to be the answer.

      The offseason is always when hope springs eternal. If you look past that, you can see a very bad roster with a lot more questions than definitive answers. Let's hope we get a lot of those right, because I think we are a lot closer to another impatient Tepper reset than we probably think.

      These arguments are getting more and more disingenuous from both the pro and anti Bryce crowd. Bryce looked very good for stretches down the final 8 games. He finally showed glimpses of the guy that was projected as a top QB pick in the draft. Bryce also didn't look like a top 10 NFL QB.  I think we are so far removed from Prime Cam that we forget what an elite QB looks like. I could tell that when people were losing their minds and simping for Sam Darnold. This season needs to finally showcase Bryce as a franchise talent. If that doesn't happen, it's time to pivot. There are very few recent examples of QB's struggling or being a mixed bag through the first three seasons of starting and then suddenly becoming frachise caliber players.
