Our O line will be giving up some sacks unless Cam is on the move. Buffalo had 50 sacks last year and we gave up over 40 so our guys will be giving up some sacks especially with Ryan's tendency to blitz early and often. It will be a good for the offense in the long run but we might look bad tomorrow night. The guy who  will play the majority of snaps at right tackle will likely be Williams after Remmers exits after a few series. I want to see how he does.  I am looking forward to the running back battle between Whitaker, Todman, and CAP.  I want to see Todman run back a few kick offs.  I want to see Funchess and Byrd.

on defense I want see Addison show he deserves to start and for Alexander to be a beast.  I want to see Shaq of course but also what Tillman has left and who is going to emerge at Safety.

Buffalo has the advantage because they will be playing their starters on offense most of the game as they decide which quarterback to use. With little to decide among the starters we will be playing backups early and often.

Considering Big Money, Star and KK are all out...all I want to see is Luke and TD on the bench.

 

Those guys can't do what they do unless the bigs are in there doing work.  If the D line is not playing then I don't want those two playing.  One defensive series is enough for me.

 

I also want to see Lee Ward and CAP.  CAP to see if his jumping and jiving in the SEC will translate into the NFL and Ward to see pain administered.  Lots and lots of pain.

Reading this thread I find myself suddenly thinking of the song "I dreamed a dream" from Les Miserables...

I dreamed a dream in time gone by

These are very nice dreams!  Hopefully at least a few of them are based in reality and will come true.

who else sang this like susan boyles when they read this.

      One of the Carolina Panthers' newest defenders thinks their pass rush can go from worst to first. ESPN's David Newton recently chatted with outside linebacker Pat Jones II, who signed with the Panthers as a free agent earlier this offseason. Jones comes over from an awfully impressive Minnesota Vikings defense—one that ranked first in takeaways (33), fourth in sacks (49) and second in QB pressure rate (44.4 percent) this past season. And despite a historically-bad campaign by Carolina's defense in 2024, the 26-year-old seems to believe his new unit can be similar—or even better—than his last. "I definitely think we could do something similar, if not better," Jones said, via Newton. "I've seen it before, so I know what it looks like.       5 total TDs against the Falcons was pretty good efficiency and he showed that ability to go off scripts and get 2 of those TDs rushing.  How many times did he deliver big time throws against pressure.  I agree we need to see this offense operate at high efficiency which starts with Bryce. When he does I hope the goals posts won’t shift to some other stat like QB sneaks lol
