Bad ass movie quotes

If you are a big fan of movies then you probably are a big fan of bad ass movie quotes. What are some of your favorites from TV shows or movies?

I'll start with a couple.

- The Walking Dead - The Governor

" I told you, you were gonna do it. You are gonna turn and you're gonna rip the flesh from her bones. In this life now.. You kill then you die ... Or you die then you kill"

-Rocky 2 - Duke talking to Apollo

" He's all wrong for us baby. I saw you beat that man like I never saw no man get beat before... and the man kept coming after you . Now, we don't need no man like that I our lives. Let it go".

From about 0:42 and on. Best is at about 2:56

"And you hypnotized me huh? Well they got you hypnotized. They got you so mixed up your singing 'My Country Tis of Thee' while they walk all over you." "Right then and there, I knew what I was frightened of."

Pure genius, and one of the best displays of acting ever, by both Poitier and an extremely underrated and under-appreciated (as an actor) Darin. Helps to have seen the rest of the picture though to have some context. By far one of my favorite films ever made.

"Where's Leo?"

"If I tell you, how do I know you won't kill me?"

"Because if you told me and I killed you and you were lying I wouldn't get to kill you then.  Where's Leo?!?"

Miller's Crossing, my second all time favorite movie.

That makes me want to do a revisit. I haven't seen it in a while. I recommend a revisit after 10 years on most movies. I've found that ones I thought were good are even better sometimes and sometimes I ask myself .. Self, did you really like that garbage? (Con Air)

    • Why would we not be contenders? As long as Bryce plays like he did when he came back, we absolutely can be contenders...that is...   if the defense plays better... which is why adding someone like Ramsey when we have a QB on a rookie deal and can afford it makes sense IMO. No one thought of the Commanders being contenders last year or the Texans the year before and so on and so forth. Top-end QB play, especially for a guy on a rookie deal, changes everything in terms of timelines. Regardless of what this board thinks, I hope the front office is willing to he aggressive in thks window we currently have with a rookie QB deal
    • Would absolutely love to have him. I dont think he would require more than a 5th rounder. The biggest thing with his contract is the amount of guaranteed money. As long as they can work out and scenario where the Panthers aren't on the hook for a lot of that, I think it's a no-brainer. The Panthers can come up with $20M at the drop of a hat with restructuring Moton's contract, so there definitely isn't an issue from a money perspective. Jaycee paired with Ramsey along with Mike Jack would give us one of the best CB groups in the league. The one caveat I see is that safety still remains our biggest current weakness. We need a starting caliber S more than CB, simply put. But adding someone like Ramsey would be amazing as long as the compensation made sense. Ramsey could also play for FS snaps also. I also dont understand this nonsense about being seasons away. We have a QB on a rookie deal who was playing at an elite level to end last season. Within reason, now is absolutely the time to make moves like trading for Ramsey.
    • He'd be a huge upgrade for this year, but we're still not going to be contenders with him and I'd rather keep the cap space to roll into next season to spend on a younger player who can be an impact starter for us for the next 3-5 years while we're hoping to contend.
