I also know someone that had this type of tumor and also was able to completely recover with radiation. Glad to hear she is in proper hands. Hoping for a speedy recovery.

that's extremely encouraging for me Jeremy. Thank you so much. I've been in the dark a bit because she has others taking care of her. She updates me but hasn't let me come see her. I would just go anyway, but she isn't the type that would appreciate that. So just knowing that others have made a full recovery from the same thing means the world to me

Keep pounding and I wish you the best of luck.

I'd recommend setting up a GoFundMe or something along those lines, post us the link so we could all chip in a little to help afford the best treatment possible.

Assuming insurance kicks in, I'd bet lost wages and things like normal bills (rent, etc) may be the most pressing need and source of secondary stress.

But I wouldn't know as I've never been through anything remotely like that. I'd donate to a gofundme.

Same here. My family has been very fortunate in regards to health for the most part.  As snappy and awful as we can be to each other, the huddle is my second family.  If JR can go the extra mile to ensure the very best for Greg Olsen's son, us Huddlers can do our part for each other as well.

We aren't the biggest fan base but we are the best fan base.  We've shown Dave Dameshek this first hand.  We can certainly put that focus to something real and important as well.

My wife survived Hodgkins lmyphoma. Next May will mark her 6th year of remission.

She was told by four different doctors that she would never be able to bear children as a result of the treatment she endured (she had put off seeing somebody until her brother had to trick her into going to the hospital).

She'll be giving birth to our first child, our son, in 2 weeks on my birthday.

There is hope. There is always hope. Her attitude and your support will be key in fighting this.

Keep Pounding.

    • well, players dictating things only works if you have the right collection of players to dictate things.  and in all honesty, not sure if we can answer if we do or don't as fans given......there are no Thomas Davis types around that we know are actually about X and Y (based on years showing it).  Collective team is too new to us to know what these dudes are really about in terms of players carrying the burden of culture.
    • Moore can be put in one of the vet spots on IR. No one will be checking for him at the start of the season. But I would be very perturbed if we tried to go all Gettlemagic and stash an obvious talent like Horn on practice squad like we did Butker. If we can get through this year, next year it will be obvious Moore and AT will be gone, starting namely with AT's contract.
    • Culture change comes from the top down, not from drafting a 3 and no D guard. I doubt Lamelo is gonna take his cues from this 20yr old kid lol. If Brandon Miller couldn’t change the culture with how good he is and how much he hustles on both ends, Kon Knueppel sure as hell ain’t changing it. Ace Bailey by all accounts is also a great teammate and hard worker, btw, who was drafted by a team he supposedly didn’t want to go to yet he immediately bought in. And he’s got actual length and tools on both ends of the floor. I feel this pick is going to age like milk rather quickly.
