this is as good a place as any to ask this question.  Is Voth a Panther's fan?  He talks about the Browns like they're his team.  Am I wrong in thinking that Voth is doing BBR because it fills a media need that Charlotte was lacking and he's really just in this for the exposure?  I honestly don't know.  Just something I've been wondering.

He's a Browns fan that is filling a media need in Charlotte. Although I'd imagine he's adopted the Panthers as a second team of sorts. He does a very good job of remaining impartial, but I'm sure he wants them to win as that is good for business(not many people care to read about a terrible team) and he's close with a lot of people in the organization.

I know he went to college at Syracuse. I follow him on twitter too and can't say for sure he's a Browns fan. He's tops in covering Panthers so it doesn't really matter who he grew up liking or whatever.

Voth is an unapologetic Brown's fan, he was on the Huddle podcast last year talking about it. Not a bad thing though, having someone covering the team that has no strong rooting interests provides a more unbiased view. A fanboy's view of things isn't always the best view.

Voth is awesome.  I have complimented him numerous times, and he has always obliged, he's even laughed at some of my twitter jokes, lol.  And, he is the best we have in total Panthers coverage.  I think he's a Browns fan, but as someone else said, he is a smart guy and saw a need in coverage, and he filled it...  And I have to imagine he pulls for us in the process, at least a little.
