Special Teams Coverage

LUUUUUKE

Recommended Posts

We have 2 weeks to get it fixed. As we know both of these teams seem to play "small ball" against one another to limit mistakes.

If we don't fix our ST teams coverage teams, Tyler Lockett can make us pay!

Lets get that fixed, the last thing we need is a loss due to ST. I'm tired of these Seachickens. This is the year that I hope we stomp them at their house.

Lockett and Sproles coming up... Sproles burnt us last year to no surprise.

Gano can obviously boot it out of the endzone, I don't even know why they play around with his kicks on KO's. As for punts... Let Nortman angle it to the corner every single time, rather lose a few yards on the kick versus watching someone take another back. It's truly amazing we manage to suck in this area year after year.

I think Nortman was instructed just to get a touchback, rather than to let a punt be returnable.

Our opponents average starting field position has to be one of the highest in the league.

i thought this phase of the game was addressed in the off-season? Guess not.

Nortman needs to just start punting for the sidelines. Apparently, he's the only one who can tackle anymore, and that's really not what we're needing.

Gano can boom them out of the endzone, but the wet footing was probably the culprit on his short kick offs today.

    • Winning games and be a +500 team are good. But the goal is to win Super Bowl.  Chiefs had Alex Smith, went to playoff twice and still replaced him.   BY as of now: - To many fumbles - Completion in the intermediate range is just far below acceptable - Not enough of a deep throw threat....   The stats you try use is deceiving.  Catchable......  That is an opinion. Show me the completion %. And also, how does BY compare to other QBs using the stats you cited. Oh... ranked at 27

    • The Entitlement Paradox: When Winning Isn't Enough for Panther fans.    Just the other season(s) we were praying for wins by any means. Brought in every run of the mill QB you could think of.  We know all sides of the ball was bad like egregious bad. However some how we have won 5 games and TOXIC ENTITLEMENT has emerged.    We are a team that has to take wins by anymeans nothing has changed. Keep pounding means it aint gonna be perfect!!    Some panther fans have now developed a toxic entitlement where even victories feel insufficient, demanding flawless performance, or perfection, which stems from historical success in which we dont have any lol. This mindset poisons communities by fostering relentless criticism, harassment, and ingratitude that undermine team morale and alienate casual supporters. For the new Carolina Panthers, this could manifest as fans booing Bryce Young after gritty wins for low passing yards despite low turnovers, pressuring tepper into premature changes mid-rebuild, or driving away talent through online abuse!! eroding the positive momentum from their recent 4-game streak has brought us. Trust and believe the players do see your toxicity.    Anyways here are some positive stats.      Most Accurate QB on... 20+ Yard Throws 1. Drake Maye (79.2%) 2. Sam Darnold (79.2%) 3. Bryce Young (75.0%) 10-19 Yard Throws 1. Jaxson Dart (88.0%) 2. Jayden Daniels (82.9%) 3. Drake Maye (80.7%) 0-9 Yard Throws 1. Drake Maye (92.9%) 2. Spencer Rattler (92.6%) 3. Bryce Young (91.7%) @FantasyPtsData
