John Matsko - Incase you are wondering how we Resemble Ray Lewis Ravens...

Remember when Ray Lewis and the old Haloti Ngata Ravens used to play ball... Just a bunch of NASTY men... and then a young quarterback came back in there and got the protection he needed to go all the way to the Super Bowl. :)

We'll the Hero is Matsko who has built one hell of a TOUGH NOSED offensive line with beautiful schemes  that are protecting Cam.

The patience is beautiful .. i mean you can just tell that at some point this team just starts piling up Points as teams realize they are not getting to Cam.

Love it.

Confused.

First of all Matsko wasn't there for any of their SB runs/wins.
Second, Ray Lewis and Ngata played defense.
Third, when you don't have Bell, Chandler, and Kugzila your OL tends to look better than if you do.
Fourth, we do not look like the "Ray Lewis Ravens(whatever the fug that is anyway)" so I don't think anyone was wondering about it.
Fifth, yes the OL has looked better overall but GMan is credited here IMO.

    • That would be crazy especially to us because our pick took Williams. And all the other talent we provided for them.  Tbey were smart we were stupid.
    • If you look at almost every QB in a team with a winning record or consistently in the playoffs their QB averages over 200 ypg. Here are a few ypg averages for 2025: Daniel Jones: 267, that is with an amazing RB. Mahomes: 261, that was with a few games without some of his weapons Baker: 239, lost his best weapon and still is putting up numbers Penix: 232, Falcons are floundering and Penix ypg is still higher than Bryce's Allen: 229 Lawrence: 230 Bryce: 173 and he isn't anywhere close to these other QBs. I included two teams that are not that great and Lawrence is not that good and still is posting higher passing stats then Bryce. Bryce has got to get his passing stats higher if he wants to keep his job. I want to win a Super Bowl and a QB struggling to pass 150 yards a game will not cut it. No, the conservative playcalling is not because of the young receivers and o-line. It is because Canales knows he is limited with Bryce and has to work around him.  Bryce has struggled to pass ever since he entered the league and 3 years in it is obvious he will never be a QB that can be relied to win the game with his arm.
