New Video Series...1st "Quarter" Review

This year I decided to step up my game when it comes to making Panther videos. Sure I can make the cool pump up videos and all that fun stuff (which they will pour out next week because Seattle can suck it), but I wanted to take more approaches as to getting more "professional" looking previews, reviews, etc. In my weekly videos I have added a cool sports ticker with info, along with a banner featuring both teams, and while that seems to be going well, I couldn't help but wonder what else I could do...

So here I am, with a pretty cool and fun video I enjoyed putting together in which I review the first quarter of Panthers football intermixed with a little "pump up". I plan on doing this every "quarter", and hope to make an "overtime" quarter when we make a run in the playoffs and win Superbowl 50 ;). Leave comments/feedback below because it is truly what makes the quality of videos better - even if it is talking complete poo to me.

This team is special this year, and I am beyond excited to see what the "toughest" stretch of our second "quarter" part of the schedule has in store for us.

    • Again, KB did nothing wrong. The play was reversed after it was obvious that KB touched him when he was down. The video shows a ref 5 feet away who should have stopped the play. KB knew he already hit him while the CB was down. I watched that play and I saw he was down and knew we’d win the challenge. Just like when the ref told Cam he doesn’t get those calls yet, it did make me wonder if the ref swallowed the whistle since interception returns are a play where QBs can take a big hit. That was right around the “player safety” increase. Cam got hurt because the ref didn’t call the play dead even when it was ridiculously obvious the CB was touched down and the quick review and reversal showed that.

    • I hope Freeling is a stud, but he's a roll of the dice. He's far from the finished product. Our OLine coach was giving him pointers at his Pro Day - he knows how much work Monroe has to put in. From a size / weight / agility standpoint he's the prototype LT. He needs to clean up his technique as he's winning on athleticism a lot at the moment, which won't fly in the NFL.
