Winning ugly... it's our thing. And I finally accept it

The first four weeks of the season, I was insanely frustrated because we weren't blowing out teams we should blow out. But guess what? We won all those games. And we're still winning games. And we haven't lost any games yet this season. Would it be nice to blow someone out and play flawlessly? Of course it would. But I've finally accepted the fact that, as long as we win... who cares how we do it? All that matters is the W. And we have six of them so far this season... along with ZERO losses. So keep on winning ugly, loves of my life. Because you're WINNING. And that's what's most important.

We play a slow game, via Defense and Running the ball.   the good news is that it will keep us in every game, bad news is it will keep the Other team in the game, but unless they can run the ball better then us or play defense better then us, it's not going to matter and we will win.

So far we havent played anyone that has been able to dictate the game to us, we've been the team that's been setting the pace. I'm curious to see what happens when we play Green Bay, our Defense is sneakly elite, we have 4 players on Defense that should be leading the NFC voting(Short, Norman, Luke, Davis), and that's a scary level of talent considering.

    • If we replace Bryce is gonna be with a veteran like Geno Smith. And if we don’t fix the pass protection the offense will continue to struggle
    • Yea his off platform and ability to make plays like he did in college just hasn't translated. He was never going to be a prototypical drop back passer. He has to make a living going outside the structure of the play call and he hasn't been able to do that anywhere near a consistent basis. However he did make some plays yesterday when he needed to. Not that we couldn't have gotten that from anyone else but I've definitely seen plenty of good QBs come up short in those situations.
    • Looks to me like they are trying to give it away.
