Greg Cosell breaking down Luck

Few insights why Luck is where he's at as a QB.  Luck can and will be Panther's dinner!!

On Luck's first interception, to Saints linebacker Stephone Anthony, he and T.Y. Hilton weren't on the same page. Luck's drop was three-step timing, and Hilton's in-breaking route was for five-step timing. Hilton's route didn't time up with Luck's drop, so he wasn't ready when Luck was ready to deliver him the ball. Then Luck made a mistake and compounded the problem by waiting and throwing late into the middle with no awareness of Anthony.

    • Hey bud. There's a whole world of middle ground between playing like one of the worst QB's of the last 25 years and playing like a hall of famer. Maybe get out there and explore it a little bit.
    • Different people across the sports media spectrum will make their own conclusions about the tape for Bryce Young. Much of the conclusions will be based upon personal feelings instead of actual analysis. But to me the only opinion about the tape that truly matters is that of our opponent. The Jaguars are not a very good football team. They have a first time head coach. They are not significantly more talented than us. But they saw the same tape every other upcoming opponent has or will see and they formulated a very basic plan to negate anything Bryce Young was doing and they did so with ease.
    • He wouldn't sign.  Dak is under contract
