Kirk Cousins: I can't dance. I have no rhythm.

I asked Washington QB Kirk Cousins what was the difference between Cam Newton's touchdown celebration dance and Cousins' "YOU LIKE THAT!" after a win a few weeks ago.

"To be honest, I don’t speak from a place of much knowledge because I’ve barely seen his celebration. I’m kind of ignorant. I can’t say a whole lot. I know he has a lot more rhythm than I do, and that lends itself to having more freedom with your ability to celebrate. I kind of am restricted to only a few things, which include yelling, 'You like that.' If I had more rhythm I would love to be a little more creative. But unfortunately I don’t."

    • Backup QB has been an issue of mine for a long time but not just for Bryce and Dalton. We have never really been able to develop QBs or build an offense around strengths. Dalton isn't going to move the needle one way or another. The problem is in our FO and possibly coaching staff (current staff undetermined as of yet). I'm of the belief that you always try to get better. Dalton wasn't good other than one game against an abysmal defense. Churn the roster, including backup QB. If BY isn't the guy we've got to start over anyway. Who knows. We might actually find someone good. Other teams have done it before.
    • Lol. Worst case? I think you mean most likely result. I don't think people are going to be wasting much breath on Dalton or QB2 if Bryce flounders this year. It's going to be people calling for coaches, GM's and owners heads for the mess we got ourselves in with Bryce in the first place. Rightfully so.
    • I mean that's his sole reason for being here. He doesn't win football games. He's here to keep Bryce comfortable.
