Does being undefeated make you more nervous?

I think going undefeated is still a little too bold to think of based on having a lot of divisional games left. However, I can't help but continue to think we are the only team that can match up against anybody.

Bring the high power offenses in here and Norman will lock down half the field. Bring Gronk in here and shaq and TD will blanket him. Bring AP in here and our hog mollies will swallow him whole. There isn't a single offense in the league right now that I'm afraid of. As long as our offense can get to 20 each game we will have a chance to win at the end and that's all you can really ask for once you get to the playoffs

It does make me a tad nervous being undefeated knowing that under the law of averages we are getting closer to losing one. Just don't make it this weekend as I will get no end of grief from NZ's most well known 'Skins fan as I've been baiting him more than a little

Injuries make me nervous. Our win record does not. If you are a Panther fan this is the fun time for us. If you can't enjoy this, you can't enjoy anything. This quite frankly is the greatest era in Panthers history. We are approaching our 3rd straight trip to the playoffs with a fan base that is growing in excitement. Kids that grew up watching Carlton Bailey and Fred Lane are buying PSLs and raising their kids on Cam Newton and Steve Smith. Just enjoy it while we can. Nothing gold can stay.

I don't feel like any team will be able to go 19-0. So, if we had to lose once this season, you obviously want it to happen in the regular season instead.

16-0 record... one and done in the playoffs? Would the season be a success or a failure?

Very nervous.  Worried about next three games.  Washington and Dallas both fighting for possible playoffs spots.  Hard not to over look Washington with Dallas on Thursday.  Dallas is used to playing on Thanksgiving and Romo will be back.  Finally taints in the dome can be tough and Panthers will be their super bowl

    • Just another 1st round QB that never paid off for the team that drafted them or traded for them. It's been like this since the SB began. 36 QBs have now won the SB & only 13 of them have been 1st rounders winning with their original team. Namath 1968, Griese 1972, Bradshaw 1974, McMahon 1985, Simms 1986, Aikman 1992, Elway 1997, Roethlisberger 2005, P.Manning 2006, E.Manning 2007, Rodgers 2010, Flacco 2012, & Mahomes 2019. Only 3 have taken longer than 5 seasons as the starter to win a SB.  4  6  5  4  6  4  15  2  9  4  3  5  2 [the years it takes for these 1st round QBs] 5  1  4  1  3  1  1  2  3  4  [10 of the 36 have won a chip with their 1st team that haven't been drafted in the 1st round. These are the years it took them as a starter] What stands out? Only 2 of these QBs have lost their first championship appearance. Elway took 4 years as a 1st rounder & Hurts took 2 years as a 2nd rounder. Of the 10 non-1st round QBs, 2 are 2nd rounders, 3 are 3rd rounders, 5 are 6th rounders or later. Please stop wasting time on drafting 1st round QBs with such a high failure rate. The remaining 13 QBs are traded or free agent signings. Stafford, Favre, Young, Williams and Dawson are the 5 trades. Peyton Manning & Tom Brady also won for teams as free agents on a short stay as well as being drafted. The lesson here is don't waste your franchise on farming up 1st rounders for the league, and steer clear of trading for a franchise QB. Stick to finding that championship QB by drafting them outside of the 1st round or through free agency.
    • I lost most of the respect I had for Fox in 2010. He should have resigned if he hated the job that much. Instead he stuck for his paycheck and let stuff go to hell.    I burned out on Ron too but my deal breaker issue with him was away from football and after he was gone from the Panthers. He may have been out of his depth but never quit on us.
    • From where they were one year ago to now, pretty incredible. I mean, say what you want about Vrabel he is no Jerrod Mayo.
