Josh and TD on ESPN right now

will be back on at 11.  They were talking about riding horses, and they asked TD if he had ridden with Josh.  He said no, I'm not good at that, so not during the season.  And we tell him not to ride during the season.  He doesn't know how big a part he is of our defense.

She asked Josh if he ever had fallen off a horse.  He was grinning like a mule eating briars and said I have but it was a long time ago.

I'm gonna be really honest, that was a little uncomfortable and TD wasn't playing at all.

Id be surprised if Josh is back next season.

Yeah he was a little to aggressive with it, but that's probably how serious he was TD knows they have the pieces and wants a chip

Did SAS honestly just say he's worried about our offense so much that he thinks our defense will have to score points? Does he NOT know we are fuggin the 3rd ranked scoring team in the league? Does he not know we have the 3rd ranked rushing attack? This narrative is so outdated and needs to be revised.

He explained this yesterday and it''s something I've been saying for awhile. Our offense is ranked so highly because of all the turnovers our defense forces that gives our offense excellent field position. We are one of the top ranked teams in average field position to start a drive and that has helped us average 30 points a game. Offense is still solid either way, but to act like defense isn't a big part of those 30 ppg is foolish.

Who said it's not? Of course it helps, but offense still has to convert and score (something we havn't done in years past). Our offense is ranked so highly because Cam has finally mastered Shula's offense and we actually have a legit O-line now. SAS was talking like we just suck on offense and can't move the ball without the defense's help, which is so not true if he watched our offense have 4 80 yard drives against Seattle (and other games). Fact remains, our defense, offense, and special teams compliment each other so well that none of them are weaknesses like SAS was alluding to.

What are you guys talking about? Can you explain?

TD said they have told Josh that he does not need to ride horses during the season because it's risky. And that Josh sometimes doesn't realize how much he means to the success of the defense. Paraphrasing of course.

    • QBs get overdrafted due to importance and lack of supply. Does he have the physicals and can he be coached? If so then he will be a top pick. If not then he may be a Panther...
    • Linville... really?! The OGs were an overreaction from 2023 when they played like 8 guys that will never play another meaningful snap in the NFL. But the others?  Moton, Ickey and Chuba were in Carolina before Bryce. So they had nothing to do with him. Who was the #1 WR heading into 2024? After 2024, who was the #1 WR heading into 2025? I'm not saying they haven't put resources into the offense. I'm saying this narrative that the team is sacrificing the rest of the team to make BY look like an NFL QB is just... a bad take. They are trying to bring in and keep talent on a roster that was/is/TBD mostly void of NFL level players.  Now if they would have gone out and overpayed/overdrafted for ex-Alabama players Bryce had chemistry with, then that would have been trying to make Bryce look good to the detriment of the team.
    • If not for Jaycee blowing up the block intended for him and tripping up Dyami, that jet sweep might have ended up being a house call. The design and flow of Coen's play calling impressed me, especially with the way he was presenting different looks and using plenty of motion + misdirection.
