Who's feeling worse today?

the answer is B:

they thought they did something about their problem, plus Urlacher is out

A: we all thought (hoped in vain) that the Jack's problems that he has shown over the last 4 years would just magically go away, and many still do

C: they got beat on a fluke. hard to watch but easy to chalk up to bad luck this early in the year

D: they have the "they better wake up it's a new year" thing to lean on after game one

all three. probably the bears should. against a division rival and making the huge moves to get cutler they did only to see a performance that resulted in 4 INTs and a loss?

it just isn't pretty for any of those teams.

i don't care about them, though. i just know i still feel like crap.

I wouldn't pat Mcnabb on the back too much. He had a pretty easy game of it yesterday. That, plus the rib injury is another notch in the column of those who think he's fragile and/or injury prone. If Vick gets a start up in Philly, get ready for one of the nastiest QB controversies ever.

Philly may have beaten us pretty badly, but we may also have put a serious crack in their season.

    • Watching games this year again and Bryce missed a wide open XL many times and some of them were in the endzone. I get the kid has mental lapses and hasn't broke out yet, but this is year three on a rookie deal! Cutting bait now is too early. If he hasn't gained anymore trust from his QB, posted any highlights, little production, or outright gets beat out then we can talk movement.
    • Samesies   I truly may just cash completely out of Panther football if we give him a long term deal that isnt necessary.  I have watched NFL for 50 years now and I can without a shadow of a doubt say you cannot win consistently with BY.  Way too many limitations to deal with.   I may come back around in 3 years when the inevitable happens and all parties are either cut and/or fired.  Giving him a deal before this season so you hopefully can get him cheaper in case he "blows up" or if you truly believe that he will has to be the most moronic decision a gm can make when the evidence is laid before you with different players
    • This is the one! I was at that game and all KB had to do was lay down on the corner after the pick or make an obvious tag while he was down. He had already ran a lazy route. Then if Cam would've just walked to the sideline like most elite QBs instead of trying to make the tackle.  A lot of people bring up the TJ Watt hit, but he just reaggravated a bunch of scar tissue from that play. And every Cam hater said that the running did him in and it was a dive tackle attempt on an interception that initially began the shoulder deterioration. He still went to New England later and would've got them in the playoffs had their A team not sat out the covid year. We quit on him too early. But hey how good was Teddy? Am I right?
