You're suggesting that there is ever a reason to include Cillian Murphy in a film. There isn't. He literally exists just so someone can point to his involvement and say "see? Artsy!"

i actually fuging hated that movie. probably because i had such high expectations. the narrative mode was reeeeally awkwardly executed, the opening dialogue alone almost sank the movie from the outset because it was so contrived, greg olsen had no chemistry with anyone on camera, the CG budget was clearly less than this gofundme will raise for odell, and it was paced like a made-for-tv movie going straight to the lifetime network. one of ron howard's absolute worst performances as a director imo

Yeah I thought it was slow but I liked how the whale was not surreal. I also liked the class play and the grim reality of what it meant to be 2000 miles off the shore of South America. Greg lost his accent every other line sure. I also enjoyed the back story to Melville's masterpiece.

Plus their house on the outskirts of Nantucket looked like it sucked. But I thought the movie highlighted the importance of relationships and leadership. Especially on a boat. 2000 miles from the shore. In 1821.

I am starting a GofugOff fund, anyone would like to donate by giving pie?

GoFundMe retarded Gmen fan, $5 in 8hr = .625 like the cheap attention whore Odell is worth.

Is there such a site as GoFugYourself.com?

If there is, I'd happily start an account for Beckham there.

Well, yeah. So they made a movie that favors non-sensical awkwardly phrased acting styles. Lucky him :)

He also wasn't that bad as the Scarecrow, but I think that pretty well taps out his acting prowess.

I liked him in both those roles. For the record I'm allowed to derail my own thread right?

Nope.  Only beckham hate is allowed in the main forum now.

I hate that Beckham wasn't in that movie that I saw this weekend. His immature struggling would've been a perfect Kylo Ren, showing his eventual transition to the dark side as his emotions got the better of him.

is that better?

I will allow it.  :)

I think he was supposed to be in the movie but he saw an actor on the set with a prop baseball bat and was intimidated so he went home.
