On to Atlanta and Keep the throttle to the Floor Through Week 17

Like the title says it's time to focus and move on.

Put OBJ in the rear view. What happens to him is inconsequential to what the Panthers are trying to achieve. The Giants season is essentially over and they're trying to slander the Panthers to gain sympathy and momentum so their star Wide Out might play Sunday Night helping their minute Playoff hopes. Good luck, who cares.

Rivera said in his presser this Sunday's game has "value" because Home Field throughout is still in doubt. So you'd expect all Panthers who are healthy to play as they did last Sunday versus the Giants. But even if we lock Home Field Sunday I'd like to see the starters play Week 17 as long as the game is competitive. Obviously if we garner a 30 point lead at the end of the 3rd you sit starters. But we know we have a two week bye entering the Playoffs already and I don't like the idea of shutting down for almost 3 weeks if we don't fully compete week 17.

Keep the focus, work on getting better, don't play scared and roll into the Playoffs working hard and keep earning everything we've gotten all 17 weeks of the Regular Season.

Yeah this odell and giants stuff is getting out of hand . I agree hope most fans and more importantly the panthers + josh norman will move well past this mess soon.

Yeah since Cards won there is still huge importance on our last game against the falcons. Our defense will probably play a lot better in the coming game but also expect the falcons (who finally broke their losing streak) to make it a much closer game being at home and having their last shot at ruining the panthers perfect season.

I hope Stewart gets healthy and gets back into the thick of things this coming Sunday or final game against Bucs at least. Don't want him rusty as hell if he miss the last 2 reg season games and then we have a long playoff bye before he plays again is a bad senario .

    • Two things: 1. Dr. Eric Eager is central to the draft process 2. I know that it was edited, but we didn't hear "Thieneman" one time, not even before the Vikings pick.
    • Why would he sign here as a guard when surely someone would sign him as a tackle?  Assuming he is healthy
    • Went back to watching the highlights. With a sober mind haha. Here is what I saw.    freddie needs to make 1 of those but the rest aren’t on him.    Slavin was BBBBAAAD again last night. Not sure what is going on with these game one Slavin gafs.    miller was ok but had his worst game in the playoffs so far.    nikishin was no good. His his awful turnover led to the first goal at the end of the first period that just can’t happen. ghost was beat like a drum multiple times last night, including the go-ahead goal at the end jarivs wont shoot. He is either hurt or he is struggling mentally and I think it could be a combination of both. He passed up a wide open net on the power-play only to pass it to no one and cleared it himself.     Svech played well. He is getting zero help on that line.    aho. Worst game as a pro. I mean that. He won’t shoot it, passes go to no one and turns it over repeatedly.  He did exactly what they did against Montreal game one when Miller had a turnover. Aho left his man to go help and left the golden Knight player wide open in front of Freddie.  If I was Rod, you Tell Aho when that thing hits your stick you fire it  someone needs to sit him down just him in a room and ask what’s going on. He seems soft, timid and has zero fire.   canes could have won that game   There isn’t a gap between these two teams  they are dead even   Carter Hart’s gonna get lit up in this series. We can beat that guy. the consensus last night was our defense played horrible and our stars won’t score.  clean the defense up. Tell the top line to shoot it everything and we’ll win tomorrow night.   Possibly convincingly.
