Defense has an achilles heel...

Dang it took you a long time to say "pass rush" haha.

Just messing with you, I agree.

Johnson has been a non-factor and needs to get back in prime form. Allen has been decent but inconsistent. Ealy has been "oh so close" too many times (I swear another .2 seconds and he would have a few more sacks).

Only consistent rush has come from Short or from blitz, but is there anything more painful to watch then us send an aggressive blitz just for everyone to get picked up? Ouch.

Definitely need to pick up the pressure.

If teams didn't fear the pass rush they wouldn't utilize short passes all game to neutralize it....

Short passes seem to be working pretty well...then over the top

First, I am not angry.  As for being right, it is not my fault that I debunked your whole arguement with two actual facts and stats.

Lol. ..,you didn't debunk anything but if that is your happy place, fine with me...we are all fans on here...I have season tickets and I assume you still do as well.

if you rely on the statistics, and actually Carolina is 3 not 4, that's fine.  Now tell me, as you said the Panthers were going to blow out the Giants, how did you feel about that 3 defense during that game...nah, never mind, I don't care that much

We did blow out the Giants and were up 35-7 until the defense lost complete focus and we had a blocked FG and a fumble in the fourth quarter.

And if I were in fact in my happy place....you would be nowhere to be found.

thanks for playing

To the point on the secondary, Finnegan's impact has been something amazing considering how late he has come in. Though someone mentioned that with the scramble that is going on in the backfield, the D understandably lapses into faulty coverage. When this happens, the QB can let go of the ball earlier, giving a very limited amount of time for the Dline to approach the QB. This happens more often late in the game when our D is exhausted. But I mean, Finnegan! Gettlemagic.

But I also am concerned with our run defense against the Giants. We have been very good this year, so why did scrub Jennings beat us so bad? Is the defense less effective against shifty, more agile runners? The Seahawks and Patriots have third strings, which you would think would hurt them but it's hard to defend those players because of lack of footage. If marahawn comes back we should be alright. The cardinals back tho may do what Jennings did and slip four yards here and there and get better field position throughout the game.

I want Ealy in the line up asap and have almost an unjustifiable obsession with Delaire. Delaire can be an alum of Hogwarts if he stays motivated as ever.

Drinking game: do a shot every time Madhatter types an ellipses

After reading the stupidity that comes from 90% of the posters, a logical person would assume that they are all raging alcoholics.

there is no way that much ignorance come come from a group of sober people.
