Well, I've been a die hard Panthers fan since the day it was announced the Carolinas had been granted a team.  So I understood as soon as I saw it.  Will never forget his INT to seal the win against Dallas in the '96 playoffs.  Still have that game on VHS.  Need to transfer it to DVD, huh.

I love the photo, Mr Scot… but for me - it is missing Thomas Davis as I see him as the HEART and SOUL of the defense in this team and as far as I am concerned - is as much a consummate Panther as the late great Sam Mills.

When I took the moniker of 5158Poundin - the intent of this was to honor Sam Mills and Mark Fields.  I took their numbers as part of my Huddle name.  For me now, the 58 in my name is more meaningful to be representative of TD as both he and #51 are my absolute all time favorite Panthers ever.

I am so emotional about this Super Bowl and this photo does exemplify some of the bittersweet side of this.  Looking back to the loss of one amazing leader of the Panthers and in the present with two of the BEST linebackers in the NFL.  Thanks for sharing.
