Who wins SB50 MVP and why?

Was looking back through some old MVP winners and was wondering who everyone thinks will win SB50 MVP and why?

I was gonna say Cam, but I think Manning doesn't do well in this game and a big reason is Luke Kuechly.

So I will say Luke Kuechly wins because he gets two interceptions, one of them returned for a touchdown, and 15+ tackles in a Morgan-esque dominant Super Bowl performance.

Your thoughts?

My guess is Thomas Davis or Kawann Short.

TD because he dominated in the face of injury adversity and got a sack, a pick, 12 tackles and a forced fumble.

Short because he got 3 sacks and a forced fumble, completely demolished any chance at a run game, and had constant pressure on Manning all night.

Smart money, though, goes on Cam for doing Cam things.

After that stupid segment at the beginning of the week where Demarcus Ware and Deion Sanders talked about how they should have a Defensive MVP trophy "since they usually give it to the quarterback" it would be AMAZING to see Luke get it. He was very humble and you could tell he was not sweating any awards other than the Lombardi trophy.

Aside from the obvious choice of Cam, I could see Ginn, Philly or Stewart take home the award.

If Ginn finally breaks through with a punt return for a TD and he catches a TD pass, that could seal it. Brown could have a few big plays, or Stewart could just dominate and rack up 3-4 touchdowns.

The media has been pretty quiet about Luke's dominating performances these playoffs.  If he gets another pick six and 10+ tackles, hand that man the trophy and whatever car comes with it this year.

My personal guess: Stewart

If we dominate this game, it's because the run game is going and since he's been back has been an absolute animal.  I think he gets like a buck-twenty five and 2 scores.

Charles Johnson, and I have no clue how he'll do it.

Hey if he does, we'll all celebrate.  It would be great to see Big Money earning his paycheck.  All the games he seemed a bit invisible will not matter to any of us if he shows up in the Big One.

I predict it will be Cam..

My heart is with TD.

The most obvious second choice after Cam is Luke.

But KK could sneak in there... after all the man won a lot of DPOW/DPOM awards this season.   Someone like Olsen, Ginn or Stew could be possible too...

Wow.  It's so amazing that we have this many play makers... and that it's not just pure homerism to think that any one of these 6 or 7 players has at least some possibility of being named the Super Bowl MVP.    I love our team.

Lot of people to name but I can see Stewart, Davis, Brown, or Ginn winning. All of these guys tend to have that perfect unexpected moment that helps put the Panthers in their groove towards the win. Always come through guys. I think Stewart has contributed a lot this season when he was not injured, so he's my first choice.

I'm full of poo, I honestly don't think he or Allen will do anything.

    • 5 straight completions in the 4th quarter to get into the red zone and then score a stand up rushing TD and celly in one of the best defenses faces to bring the score within 1 possession against the super bowl champs is "stunned" to you?
    • yes, if you read what I said - that was due to his record breaking 245 yard 4th quarter performance in garbage time when the Seahawks were already celebrating. If Bryce puts up big numbers in the 4th quarter, people like you are quick to call it garbage time stats but seem to get selective when other QB's do it because it doesn't fit your narrative.  also, I'm logical enough to admit that Drake is a great QB and his performance had a lot to do with his protection, play calling, and other aspects. The game does not fall completely on the QB. Just like how the Panthers were still in the game vs Seattle until Horn's penalty changed that. It is a team sport, so many factors, players, refs, coaches are involved and it only takes one thing to change the game. the obsession with Bryce is just nauseating at this point and if you pay attention on here, it's the same 10 users quoting and pieing each other. it's super weird and everywhere else you go, opinions on Bryce are trending upwards. the way the season ended, the vibe at the stadium, the performance, should have everyone excited about this next season. Idk, maybe I just look at life and my entertainment outlets differently than others.
