A *lot* harder when the defense knows its gonna be a goddam pass before the ball is even snapped.

Their defense couldn't stop the pass very well all game. We had eight drops. Those drops we far, far more of a factor than a couple of runs.

No, but he's not the one messing up. Tolbert fumbled, not Shula. Gano missed, not Shula. Teddy Williams decided not to tackle, not Shula. Those things alone don't happen and it's closer. Take out those drops and it's a different game entirely.

...Yep, we had our chances... i think we didnt mixed up the 'read' enough... i was waiting for the fake up the middle with the flip to Ginn on the end around the whole game...instead...a Ginn pass..nice wrinkle but no dice....

Are you defending Cam's decision on that play?

These people have the attention span of a gnat and the reasoning skills of a toddler. Don't think Shula is the worst an question the execution? YOU LOVE SHULA AND HE IS FLAWLESS

again i ask HOW THE fug DO YOU BLAME SHULA?

did some of you watch the game, we left blockers in for max protection and wr's dropped the ball, even then denver's d line still beat everyone not name kalil like a drum, and TOLBERT,you get lucky with the first fumble and fumble again trying to run someone over instead of getting yards. Pathetic.......Cam and Ginn showed up but the rest of the O said fug it

On that ONE play?  No.

But you sure seem to have your nose up Shula's ass on a sh1t-ton of OTHER sh1tty play calls tonight.

Doesn't matter what Shula calls. You can't win when you turn the ball over four times, drop the ball eight times, miss a field goal and decide not to tackle on special teams.

When the 4th quarter started we were still in this game after ALL of those turnovers.

And Shula was still running the ball into a brick wall on 1st down.

Down 16-7 against the best defense in the league. We could have been up.

Once again - playcalling was not ideal. But our execution was terrible. But that's a bit too complicated for you to understand, methinks.

I'm thinking it might be better for someone to help you in understanding "if something isn't working after 3 quarters, maybe you should stop doing it".

Shula isnt the issue. Shula cant get on the field and help the oline block. Shula cant control a player from fumbling. The plays were there to be made. We had a couple of drops and the pressure was killing our oline. Alot of the plays were just well defended and some didnt have a chance to develop.

Evidently neither passing nor running was working. Every time we got something going, guess what happened? It wasn't a dumb Shula call. That happened at the start of the drive. It was a drop, or a turnover, or a missed field goal.

Dude those play calls GOT US TO THE SUPERBOWL.  You dont' seem to be able to attribute any blame to the player's themselves.  It's cliche but Shula didn't fumble those balls.  He has no plays in the playbook that has anyone on our team to jump the snap count.  I mean for me to take you seriously you need to accept some of these things.

And let's say we throw slants...do you honestly believe that we could use that the whole game and Wade Phillips would not adjust to it?  Really?

The only play call I didn't agree with was the Ginn play where it looked like he was supposed to pass the ball.
