Brooks leaves for huge money and the Texans replace him with Allen who is good if he can stay healthy. That may end up as an underrated move.

EDIT: Nevermind, they signed Allen for $7M/year. I don't like that "trade"

Terez A. Paylor of The Kansas City Star reports that Chiefs free agent S Tyvon Branch will meet with the Cardinals for his first visit with teams.

• Paylor adds that Branch potentially has “multiple” visits scheduled.

In 2015, Branch appeared in all 16 games for the Chiefs and recorded 43 tackles, one sack, an interception returned for a touchdown, a fumble recovery returned for a touchdown and four pass defenses.

FOX Sports' Mike Garafolo reports Arizona will "try to close the deal quickly." Branch, 29, spent 2015 as the Chiefs' third safety, but he is a starting-caliber player who was working on a one-year, prove-it deal after injuries derailed his career in Oakland. He'd be an excellent get for the Bird Gang.
