I didn't know what you meant, now i do, lol.

I wasn't on twitter though, it was espn that was fooled and reported it as official.  That's when you know media is f'ed up, buy hey, at least they might be first!

I didn't know he had actually duped ESPN into reporting it on air at the time. I'm honestly impressed. He usually gets a few people on twitter, but having a fake report make ESPN is hilarious.

What teams havnt we heard from.... Cowboys? Falcons?

Falcons signed Alex Mack and have been in the hunt for some others they didn't land, plus now apparently getting Mohamed Sanu (and overpaying in my opinion).

Cowboys are said to be hosting a visit with Chris Long.

Re: Cleveland...

Multiple agents echoing criticism that #Browns are being extremely hesitant in negotiations

Issue w/browns isn't not spending $$ - free agency is fool's gold - it's more the tenor of talks and how they're being perceived by agents..

And pulling an offer with a player who had played out his rookie deal doesn't help with their perceptions problems. Lot of grumbling....

I think it's hilarious that agents are all pissed off because the Browns are actually being smart for once. I'm sure they will screw it up somehow because they are the Browns after all and that's what the Browns do, but I actually really like the direction they have gone with Hue as head coach and analytic guys in the front office this offseason.

    • One thing I didn’t consider is how thin this draft is at quarterback. That’s going to drive up the market for backups and borderline starters like Willis, Jones, and Jameis Winston. Because of that, we’ll most likely be priced out of the market for this tier of backup.
    • We've already beat the #1 seed twice, why not one more? (Packers and Rams were both #1 seed at the time we played)
    • My determination has come down to this. Based on recent QB history, has Bryce's improvement warranted 50m per season? Lamar is the only original team QB to play on his 5th year. The others took major deals at the end of the 3rd, before or just after the option was signed. Chances are, we're getting asked for the same.  I haven't rooted for Bryce to fail. I've rooted for him to succeed so big that them signing that extension would give me no worries about our future at QB at all. We haven't seen that level of play consistently that this year. We haven't seen it in the past 6 games.  We're about to be at a threshold with Bryce and I worry about what this front office will do. We have a history of bad decision making and Morgan has been part of that group making those decisions. I don't want Carolina in the same boat Arizona and Miami are right now. It has nothing to with being right. It has to do with wanting to win for more than a single season. We've never had back to back winning seasons. Faith in their abilities is not warranted at this point.
