More like:

Joe P: Do you have any indication that Josh will sign the franchise tender?

DG: I don't discuss contracts

Joe P(again, later): Have extension talks between you and Josh escalated lately?

DG: (sigh) Joe, you know I don't discuss contracts.

Joe P (again, later): Is the team looking to extend Short or Star this offseason?

DG: (thinks: are you fuging serious Joe) Next question.

I hope someone asks Gman if he has seen the Super Bowl game tape yet.

I bet Joe or David asks him if he had thoughts of regret about giving Cam the contract after seeing how he handled the post-game interview.

I seriously want someone to ask him at some point if he knows that his nickname among fans is nippleshorts, and that fans have gone out of their way to wear their shorts up to their nipples to look like him.

    • Damn I liked A'Shawn too. This is basically a heads up we're planning on cutting you move.  Robinson wasn't the best but I loved his attitude and effort on the field. He held that entire dline together when Brown went down iirc..granted we finished that season as the worst rushing defense in modern NFL history.  If Wharton would have performed up to atleast half of his salary last season, I'd feel a little better about it. We do need that cap space though.

They made the playoffs, but they're not yet knocking on the door. (Offense was 26th in EPA/play.) I think it's imperative they don't overestimate where they are in their build. They can't throw a ton of money around in FA to "make a run now". They need to be intentional about building a solid foundation. (IMO) And from what I know about the team... I think they will be. Sidenote: I have my eye on offense there, not defense. They HAVE to leave next season with a strong opinion on Bryce Young. They need to put pieces around him to do that. Can't be left wondering what he would have looked like with "better OL play" or "more pass catchers". They have to know. (That part is purely my opinion. No one told me that.) https://x.com/lindsay_rhodes/status/2027212533417869499?s=46&t=xeIgh_-Vr2aKxBkBJdfnKA
    • Because this DL is completely reliant on Brown being available and being a stud. Without him we were the worst D in history. The Wharton signing last year reeked of desperation. He just isn't a great fit for us schematically and I think we panicked a little bit when we missed out on Milton Williams who would have been a great fit.
