I finally did it

I just got done work 45 straight 12 hour nights so I treated myself. I bought an authentic Shaq Thompson jersey, because Shaq is awesome (had to customize it) and tickets to our game Thursday night against New Orleans. (My second time ever in BoA and NC for that matter) I know I know, cool story bro, but I just had to share. Offseason blah blah blah.

45 straight days at 12 hours per day? No days off? I totally would've quit on the 6th day.

It happens every so often at my job. I took the job knowing it would happen so I'm going to work it. Two years ago I did 74 nights, but they gave us a day off every 21 days so it wasn't so bad. I did have a day off this last time, but a day off from a night going back to a night is pointless so it doesn't really count.

    • I presented that scenario because this is a home game and we seemed to have improved in some capacity in that area as of recently. The problem with the possibility of sweeping the Bucs is this team has had a habit of quickly falling victim to momentum shifts. The Bucs are coming off a bitter loss the same as the Panthers but the Bucs have a much better proven track record this time of year and they have performed when the pressure is on unlike our Panthers. We have a shot against the Seahawks here in BOA but that is a matchup that could quickly get out of hand because they are a well coached team and that goes back to the momentum shifts I mentioned. I just don't see this team beating the Bucs in their stadium to close the season. Tall order to say the least.
    • I’d give it another year for Sanders and Evans, I don’t much care what you do with Tremble’s spot. Let him have another year or maybe replace him. Haven’t looked at his contract so that may be the determining factor.
    • Following the crazy up down pattern we finish 9-8 with an improbable sweep of TB, and lay an egg in the home playoff game.  I don’t know if I can sign on to sweeping TB but I suppose it’s possible, they aren’t really that good this year.    ps I can buy beating TB Sunday and losing to Seattle.  Then it just gets to can you fluke one game. Any given Sunday. So we’ll see.
