How exactly did they come up with these numbers? Is it based on last year? Didn't Floyd make over 100 million. I can't believe Cam made 41 mill just on the field last year, I wonder what the bonuses were.

 

I was shocked that Giancarlo Stanton didn't make the top 100

Figured Peyton would be much higher on the list due to endorsements, also, Tiger not even hitting a ball, but racking up endorsements like crazy.

I think Cam's number was so high because of the signing bonus he got when he did his extension.

This F1 you speak of, I think many people in America think it is a new Air Force fighter and not a sport.

This list does include endorsements, it also takes all of the money paid NFL players this year regardless of which cap year it counts against, so Cam for instance has a salary of $41M (which includes all the signing bonuses he was paid when he signed as well as his salary for the year) and $21M in endorsements.

Keep in mind if they're paid $5M for a 2 year endorsement deal then it's not split up $2.5 per year, it's $5M when they get paid and then $0 the next year. Just one or two long term deals would hugely skew these yearly rankings.
