well i was thinking something probably happened prior to that during the game which sparked him to show up the other team. Seems kind of odd a player would just run to the opposing teams bench and get in the coaches face for no apparent reason.

As far as I could see, what "sparked" it was they hit him hard in the endzone.

From what I've been able to find on the story, there's no indication he was provoked.

That, plus the kid has a history of being kind of a prick. I think that's a big reason why he's playing in the CFL rather than its American counterpart.

He made a good catch and got absolutely smacked, but held on to the ball. He was psyched and ran over to the opposing sideline to taunt the opposition.

Now some of the media guys are like "Oh my stars, he hit a coach!" But if you look at it, the coach seemed to intentionally get in his way and flopped better than Nelson Varajao.

Sensationalism at worst,  July offseason filler at best. Basically, meh.

Basically what happened to Steve Smith against the Saints when Harper cheap-shotted him.

    • All good solids points. I think after the RB and LB, is kicker the next spot among "Legacy" panther spot?? Kasay, gano, butkler, Eddie(best all-time %), Slye, Lloyd the touch back god, Mare, lols.....  Fitz...*right now* feels a combo of all the best panther ones. With the new rules, Fitz is either first or second in starting field position form KOs. He's a weapon and ten yards do matter.
    • "Plays well" vs "near historic performance" are pretty different things. It's important to keep in mind the Cowboys passing defense is league worst and their run defense is nearly so, for sure. But one of those two players vastly outperformed what most other players have done versus the Cowboys and the other had fewer yards than typical (but still played very well imo, and did all we needed him to). Rico pretty much doubled up virtually every other single back that has played the Cowboys.  So yeah I get why people would be surprised that Rico is so far down the list of O players.
    • Trevin and Rozeboom remind me (obviously at a smaller scale) of when they had Beason as the mic and Luke beside him. Luke looked very average and was out of position a lot until he swapped to mic. REALLY hoping this is another case of that. Just on eye test alone that swap has been a night and day difference.
